@@TheFishCorner Respect. I know they grow way to fast. My youngest is 14 now and is really starting to enjoy the hobby. It sure is great not having to do his water changes.on his 3 tanks.
@TheFishCorner3 жыл бұрын
Thank you bro. And yes they do, my oldest will be 19 in June. Idk where the time went. I still remember him being the same age as my youngest. He’s into the hobby as well, has like 3 tanks also at his moms house. It’s great to be able to pass this down. I’m a 3rd generation fish hobbyist. My grandma passed it down to my mom and she passed it down to me. I still remember going to my grandmas house and looking at here 75gallon planted tank full of albino Cory cats, guppies, platies, etc. She taught me at 10 years old how to determine the sex of those fish. The memories and bonds created through this hobby and many others are lifelong. I’m so grateful to be able to share this with my kids. Thank you brother for commenting and sharing a bit about yourself with me. The respect is mutual.

Nice tank and some good looking fish. Just FYI, never take puffer out of water. Move them in a bucket or container. They can ingest air which they can have trouble expelling that could lead to infection or death.
@TheFishCorner3 жыл бұрын
You know, you’re the second person that said that. When I bought him, they caught him with a net. I’m well aware of the risk if he inflates out of water, which is why I’m glad he didn’t. With that being said, there was no way to move this big puffer any other way than with a net. As long as they don’t puff up out the water it’s fine. And I’m not trying to sound rude or like a know it all bro. I definitely appreciate your input. I’m just saying this big guy was already difficult to move and I did the best I could. And he’s doing just fine. Moving forward I may consider a different method but like I said, he’s doing just fine.

The stand and caves look great! I can't believe y'all were receiving contrary comments... I distinctly recall "Do you need me, babe?" more than once when you were hefting the 240. You'd say "nah, nah, nah" like coordinating another body in the maneuver would have been more of a challenge than a help. (Of course, you then proceeded to move water in a trash can when most of us complain how heavy our 5-gallon buckets are.)

Yes we’ve received some controversial feedback on how my woman was supposed to help and a bunch of other things.. but it’s okay, I understand it comes with the territory.
