When I purchased my 2018 new, the instrument cluster cover would kind of fog up. I got it replaced under warranty. Then, the new one had small hairline scratches and I insisted they replace it again. My dealership, Blue Ridge Powersports were great about replacing it twice. So I would recommend you have this dealt with while the warranty is still in effect. Nice bike! Also, about the phone getting hot, I just leave the door open on very hot days and it seems to do the trick.

Your highway pegs have more adjustment on the right side because the engine is offset slightly on a horizontally opposed engine if you straddle the bike and look down you can see the one side is further away from you than the other side

You was told a bunch of lies, the warranty on the tour and non-tour is exactly the same! Warranty from Honda is 3 years with UNLIMITED mileage, it's on the Honda website, I just checked 10hrs after you posted this video! 5 years of EXTRA extended warranty is $1000 which is way cheaper than Harley, Blue Ridge Powersports will give you a discounted price on the warranty as it can be brought at any time in the first 3 years with no additional cost. BTW I intend to buy my first GW from Southern Powersports in the fall.... they do not charge anything over MSRP for the bike... no setup, delivery or taxes ...MSRP is the OTD price!

I checked the warranty on the website and it’s 3 years unlimited for all GWs. Plus the extended warranty they were trying to sell me was a 3rd party one. They are such scammers MMS dealers here. Thanks for the tip on the warranty. I was going to buy from Southern Honda but they didn’t have this bike.

Nice accessory upgrades. It looks like your windshield is shaped differently than my '23 Tour. I live in metro Atlanta too and found the same dealer fees you ran into when I was looking to purchase last year. A dealer in Canton and one in Douglasville were the ones I found that had a Gold Wing when I was searching last year. They both had $1000+ in dealer/assembly fees... or whatever they called them. Then I found Southern Honda Powersports in Cycle Trader, and the rest was history! No extra fees and all the numbers worked out via phone and email. I sold my previous motorcycle and went to Southern with a trailer to pick up my new '23 Tour DCT in September of '23. It was the best and easiest vehicle purchase I have experienced. It took me longer to strap my motorcycle to the trailer than to complete my paperwork. Plus, the dealer already had Goldstrike tie-down loops mounted to the front of the bike free of charge.

I owned a DCT Tour and an Ultra Limited/Road Glide Limited at the same time also. When I bought the RGL, I sold the Wing. Now I’m looking at a Wing again. The reason your foot pegs are offset is because the 2 sides of the engine are offset - it’s a boxer motor like a BMW, so not symmetrical side to side. Normal - just set the highway pegs for even reach and forget how it looks. The OEM warranty is 36 months, unlimited mileage. Shop around for an extended HONDA warranty if you feel you need one, but before the OEM runs out. Luggage rack look great - I would do the same without the light because of wiring requirements. I like your cup 👍

Nice ride !!!..I got my 2024 from Southern Honda Powersports...those guys are great up there...I'm not sure but I think your mount for your brake side, you might have the spacers installed wrong...they belong behind the mount to cover the screws...not unless that was intentional then disregard.

Love the bike and the name. I purchased "Snowee" from the Southern Honda Powersports dealership on May 11th with Cruiseman. Yes, the engine guard from Traxxion Dynamics is the best on the market. Yes, the OEM seat will scuff every single time. The phone will get hot in the box. I only have overheating phone issues when it is over 98 degrees outside. Great video and commentary.

Thank you for watching. I actually just saw a couple of your videos especially the one that you met up with CG and ended up trading your GW for the tour. I wish they had the tour model in that blue color that would look amazing. But I have noticed that all the tour model mostly get glossy paints and the non tour get the flat paints. I have never had that phone heating problem with my Road Glide but probably because the GW has the glove box right above the engine. But the lining I purchased helps a bit but not by much. Thank you again and I enjoyed watching your videos as well.

Good point on the matt finish paint, makes sense that a chip on it would be a nightmare to fix. Dealers can only charge you what you are willing to pay. That said, a Southern Power Motorsports salesman insisted I needed to pay North of $1500 for the extended warranty. He didn’t insinuate, he stated flat out. Honda stops covering the electronics immediately after you drive off the lot. He lost a sale with that utterance. I have a question I always ask. Liar or stupid? I hope for the latter, because uninformed people can be educated. If the former, that isn’t a man I wish to do business with.

I later found out that the basic warranty doesn't have limited miles but is unlimited miles 3 years and the finance person was probably trying her scare tactics. But I am glad I waited because now on the Honda website their most expensive extended warranty is for $1089 which is 5 yrs unlimited miles. Best warranty in the biz. you can get a total of 8yrs unlimited miles!!

My 2022 has a broken reverse. Still in warenty I will see how Honda repairs this. Gears grinding in use and it stops working, but still grinds. Honda wants to change the adjusting cable. A cable on such a high tech bike. No cable adjustment in any of the service schedule

Use your heat gun for that scratch on your dashboard. Be very careful and go easy. Use finesse ! If you do it carefully and not overheat it, the scratch will disappear right before your eyes.

I am A LITTLE ENVIOUS , you have 2 bikes a car ,and a house, and all the small stuff you mentioned in this video, How can you afford ,it? Are you rich, or do you buy big things on credit , or something else? I am just a poor vet, I been looking at the Gold wing since 2020 I guess , on KZbin , I only rode a little Honda 90 , many decades ago, but if I could afford it and could ride it , I get the Goldwing myself . Of course I do not owe money to anyone , debt free, but I receive compensation from the VA, BECAUSE I have been diagnosed with PTSD, 100 % I live in Europe now, in a little house which I rent , Single. When I see guys who have all this stuff, I scratch my head ,wondering how do they do it ,how can they afford it. So if you d not mind to tell me, what is your job, and how do you afford all this stuff? Maybe I am missing something and in fact I could get that Goldwing ? Thank u Stephen

Did you have to go through a 3rd party company to get rated or did you do all the paperwork yourself and submit it to the VA? This is all on credit but I too had to wait 6 years before I was able to buy a GW. I have been looking at this since 2018 and only recently been able to buy one. I work hard every day and I am blessed to be able to buy these things but again it’s all debt. You on the other hand are debt free and hope I am there with you one day. I just need to stop buying stuff.

Dollars for 2 pages which proved way inadiquate .fortunetly in Netherlands when my Ptsd failed the Dutch health care sent me to a special clinic for veterans After many tests the doctors , I had been seen by a 6 here , my main doctor was a good guy. The VA made him fill out an extremly high amount of aper work, which amounted To 40 type writen pages,unlike the VA doctor who claimed Ihad some other thing so the VA did not have to give me compansation! Long story short I appealed ,and a nimber of dodgy things accured on the va side,It took me years till2009, to fight that va bs.in the end by grace of God without warning and nothing but bad news, someone there at the va,finally decided to actually look into case ,together withe overwheming 40 typed pages of my doctor and the other doctors who examined me here in Netherland . My last letter before my case was over turned was from sn angrey Marine who told them ,Imight not be able to do much ,but one thing I can still do:fight,I promised. I will fight to the very end and I knew I would get there but I wasn,t certain whoever would read this would! Iguess my last letter and my docs 40 type written pages,finally got somethere to actually look into my case.Then I was told I would have zero chance of overturning my case which would take 2 more years and end negatively anyway! I should give glory to God because that last year I prayed every time Ihad even a momentary doubt ,many times a day,I ran to my mirror and would say I refuse to doubt and read a scripture I had fasened to my mirror Which said : Try me in this , and see if I will not given in more then you ask,etc! And on a second piece of paper I wrote figure 100,000dollars. I never owned a computor and had zero idea of how much compansation was ot indeed that it worked by what rates you were givin by the decision of the va. I knew nothing Now some few months passed by,sll was silenced ,nothing when of a sudden January 2009,Irecieved alettet which said my case eas overturnec and Iwas rated 100 persent compansation .In my case ,I never have to go see the va doctors again brcause aI was incurable,and Even if I got a great paying job, Inever have to give back to the va anything . There is a second 100 percent rating, which. Still has to report to the va doctor regularly to see if you show any improvement , then they will lower your compansation ,at least that is how it was back then. So to answer your question all I can suggest there are helpers to help you do all this correctly, hopefolly not as bad as mine was, Ido not know what is a GW? I hope since Trump strightened out the VA somewhat,things are a little easyer for you,but there are these helpers to help do all this more eficiently .You were in the military?
