In Buddhism, we have celibacy for one reason and one reason only: to empty the minds cravings for anything other than focusing on meditative practice. There is no “sin” element or cult of purity.

The "cult of purity" is to rid your mind of anything but God. Death to the world is the foundation of Christianity. Your edgy muh buddhism isn't novel. Furthermore, there's a reason it has not made a major impact on the world, not even close to Christianity. To this day the Catholic Church is the most charitable organization in human history. It is a top supporter of science & medical research. It created the university system. What did buddhism do except give Liberals with brain rot in the West a place to attempt to find spiritual fulfillment without the personal accountability of Christianity?

I think the problem is with how Catholic clergymen, have distorted and still distort, exaggerate and misinterpret Paul's Scriptural writings on marriage and sex.... and not Paul's actual writings.
