My 3 Step Morning Meeting Routine For 3rd, 4th, and 5th Graders

Morning meeting games and activities require way too much planning and implementation time. Here's the simple 3-step routine I use for morning meeting in my upper elementary (3rd, 4th, 5th) classroom. It would work great for middle school as well!

Thank you for the writing information shared during this meeting. I teach 6-8 Am. History, Texas History and World Cultures. Many of my Students really have weak writing skills so besides the history! I try to incorporate writing skills, grammar and spelling. Very frustrating! Your talk this evening gave me better ideas on how I can help my students in short increments of time. Thank you! Thank you so much for watching! I don’t think it needs to be anything complex. We like using sticky notes and posting them up in the room where they won’t get lost. A quick page with a border that says GOALS and goes in their binder can work well too. When we set class goals, we write them on the board as well. I like to do 3 major class goals and one personal one for each kid.
