This is all true. Lack of a basic feature like cruise control in top model is shameful for Honda. Hyundai Creta gives an option to add Cruise Control later through their accessories, but no such modular approach by Honda yet.

Bro Cruise Control is available in manual only . Cvt comes at a premium of 1 lakh and does not get a Cruise Control. The car in this Video is VX CVT

Currently new Dzire is the best option available .. It is best in price, Safety, Reliability, Maintenance, Resale, Spares availability, Features and looks as well . Only thing to consider is that these cars are family cars.. so if you are looking for some fast car , then this segment is not for you .. otherwise there is no better option than Dzire currently

Bro i am also planning to upgrade tyre size on my amaze, but as i can see in the video with 16 inches even car is bouncy at higher speeds . So there is no point right ? What advantages you felt after changing to bigger tyres ?

The only advantage to the car is its looks .. otherwise it is almost the same. Not much change in ride quality. However there are some disadvantages associated with tyre change like tire touching on fenders, hard steering and lower mileage. For the part of better grip just use some good quality tyres on the same size or 185 section in 15 inchers.. that would be good enough

What about base model for this car if available at 8.75 lakh S CVT . Is it worth buy ?

If you have a necessity for automatic then you can go for it.. and if you have no problem with manual gearbox then i would recommend going with base model of dzire - lxi as it is a newer car, safer, low maintenance and high resale..however if automatic is necessity then you may go with amaze as it is worth the amount (only if onroad)

If you are buying now dont just go for discounts .. Keep in mind to take test drive and also consider base variant of new dzire as it is safer , has more mileage and better resale and vetter value for money .Test drive both the vehicles to your satisfaction and then Select..

@ I did that but my budget is 7.5 to 8 and Maruti is not ready to give the base variant in that range I am getting amaze on road at 7.68 and some other benefits from Honda.

I am extremely satisfied with Amaze. I also had Honda , Accord and now drive a CRV. Most underrated brand but extremely reliable. The blogger has other ' vested ' agenda

It is good that you are satisfied ,I am satisfied as well but looking at the market currently amaze is not the most suitable pick as it definitely not the most value considering the features and value other cars provide and enough with the reliability, the life of a car today is 15 yrs and every modern car can survive till that. There is no need to invest your money in a car just for things that wont even be useful in real life . There is a lot to cars other than just reliability. And for that part Koreans have actually come very close if not ahead of the japanese in terms of reliability. And everyone is intelligent and it shows in the sales numbers. The 'agenda' thing is for people who are just fans of things they own. I own Honda and can definitely say that they deserve the conditions they are in because of the efforts they have made in the Indian market

For pragmatic and non impetuous car buyers who look beyond features ( i call it bells and whistle) a car's is judged basis its engine , transmission, suspension, safety and cost of ownership. Trust you will agree... Honda's naturally aspirated IVTEC engines are leagues ahead of the Korean siblings, the " other" Japanese bro ( Suzuki) and other Indian and Chinese auto makers. They are silent, dynamically balanced, provides linear power output at all rev levels and a host of other functionalities. Additionally the fuel efficiency of these engines are better than the Koreans, Chinese and Indian competitors. I can go on and on the other aspects of superiority.... Unfortunately Honda has not marketed their products effectively and timed their launches in synch with consumer expectations and evolving market dynamics. Likewise Toyota....still struck with virtually 2 products!! Once a Honda customer will and mostly certainly remain as a repeat Honda customer

This is exactly what I was trying to say.. I bought amaze only for these reasons and my only grief with this car in honda and its marketing tactics. I myself have paid a premium for this car's top model which is not the most value as i myself am least concerned with them features. I like simple cars . But not everyone does. People want features and low cost which honda has unfortunately not paid much attention too. Their lethargic and unwilling efforts towards indian market have led them to these conditions . They are barely surviving even with launch of new models like elevate (definitely wrong time , wrong car and wrong engine options). This video is for general public to get the reality check after being blinded by watching all those sugar coated promotional videos on youtube and other platforms. People who love and know Honda will definitely go for Honda. I would too if they launch something interesting in the future.

Ye baat to sahi hai.. Honda apne dealers ke alawa kisi ko bhi spare parts nahi deta. Aftermarket honda ke original parts na milna ek disadvantage hai. Is car ko Kharidne se pehle ye point bhi dhyan mein rakhna chahiye.

You must be a Honda fanboy.. sorry if i offended you but a review or comparison wont make any difference when the car or the company might not be on sale in India(10 yrs) . This video was basically for people who want to buy this car ,so that they can beforehand be aware of the lies told by sugarcoated promotional videos. I am not gonna sell it obviously coz we have kept cars in our family for more than 20 yrs. I am a honda fanboy as well but want to tell you that a car with even the worst reputation for reliability can cross ten years without any trouble with just timely maintenance. Honda has no super power in this field anymore so you should too just give up and keep mind open for all other available options..
