We do Christmas eve at my moms and Christmas day at home and wake the kids at 5 am. I finally started to do Thanksgiving dinner two years ago at my house then do Thanksgiving at my moms the day after. This is so 🥰🥺. I'm the same when it comes to my childhood I always had a yellow cake w frosting that my mum made. I still keep up the tradition w my oldest ( youngest is3omo). There's something really special about making your own cakes for your babies bday parties.
