I think the paper is super smooth so it’s mainly Prismacolors. I have problems with bleed through when I use dark blue in either Inktense or Neo Color II so I make two or three light layers. It has has worked for me so far. I must like this video. This is the second time I’m watching it. I really like your work.

Yes that paper is super smooth! I will base each page with gesso or satin glaze when I work in other Eriy books. I'm glad that you like it 💕😊

Congratulations! In my humble layman's opinion your pages are beautiful. In the future I hope you will embrace bleed throughs and encourage varied colors in your work - such as a little pink in your grass. Pink can always be blended with a pink clay color or a lighter brown over grass or indigo in a sky so just enjoy the process. Your pages are so refreshingly colorful I can only image them being better. Although she hasn't posted anything new for a while, I am a Shirley XL. Y fan when it comes to watching adult coloring. The pages have more bright colors most I see. Another coloring book artist said most colorist where attempting the style/level of Chris Cheng or her own. While Chris Cheng's pages are beautiful I think each artist can contribute wonderfully to the world of color. You sure did.

I think you did better at them than you give yourself credit for. Hi. With the metalic water colours would work better if you put a regular coat of pencil as a base color or primer then apply the metalic colour on top. Hope this helps for next time. Lovely coloring.

Amazing work! I am honestly surprised acrylic paint holds up on this paper. I’ve been working on the third tale (I colored in a lot of the Christmas-y pages this season) and I had instant regret the two times I tried to use a light watercolor application. Buckling ahoy! Dry media’s definitely the way to go for me. I’ve also had good luck with pitt brush markers, but they work on all the coloring books so no surprise there. I am wondering if for wet media a clear gesso might help prep the pages.
