Hi Jimmy! Good to see you, your jumpers look great and your excitement is contagious. Ever since you mentioned something about making a "slutty summer top" in your past video, I've been looking out for that project! You even inspired me to make my own 😋 Cheers!

Thanks! I'm happy to hear you are inspired. I'm always on the hunt for a good one. One is coming up soon.

@@jimmydoesknitting I'm not sure if you crochet but I crocheted the Monica Mesh Top but as for knitting I'd love to try the Look at my Holes by James Watts and the Corran Cardigan by Rebecca Clow. Excited to see your plans :)

Could do. Any suggestions or is this something I need to make up?

Hi Jimmy! Love your video's! Not sure if this helps, but my local yarn shop (Ghent, Belgium) stocks a large selection of Rosa Pomar! They're called "Wolhuis Wolder". Maybe shipping from Belgium to Amsterdam is a bit better. Of course small yarn shops can't make any deals with shipping companies, so it might still be quite expensive, but just check it out!

Thanks. That's not a bad shout. I tend to go directly to Retrosaria's site. I should bargain hunt a bit more... or find an excuse to have a long weekend in Gent (I've never been).

@@jimmydoesknitting They have a website! But yes do visit! Gent's lovely, but not the best for yarn, besides that Wolder shop.

Quick question - was the length the only thing you needed to consider when making a women's pattern for a man?
@jimmydoesknitting4 ай бұрын
Typically things are longer, it depends on the body and preference. What I typically recommend is finding a sweater they like with a similar construction and knitting to those measurements. That being said, usually I lengthen the sleeves, yoke depth and body depth. Some people may need wider shoulders or arm circumferences as well. If the stitch pattern allows it, you could throw in some shaping to make it narrower at the waist than the chest to create that V shape.
