Hello Nontando, i came across your vids just yesterday and i loved them. I've been natural for years now but i can't retain length due to single strands knots and breakage. No how much i try to detangle my hair. I'm not even shoulder length. I'm so frustrated. I have tried so many products as well as methods but only a setback. I love your hair is very beautiful and healthy. I have low porosity fine density 4c hair. Could you maybe give me some advice? Thanks
@nothandondlovuraw73883 жыл бұрын
Since your hair is fine density please try a henna/aloe juice paste. Get a pure body art quality henna and aloe juice and do a henna mask. It will coat the hair making your starts more smoother and thicker. Also single strand knots are caused my damaged ends, what is your regimen like for protein?
@kindzozodoinghaus99563 жыл бұрын
For protein i would use aphogee two step protein treatment, shea moisture masque or the egg mayonnaise base. My hair is also thinning constantly. But recently i also went through postpartum hair loss as well .
@nothandondlovuraw73883 жыл бұрын
@@kindzozodoinghaus9956 ok I hear you I tend to rely on building protein from within, most importantly with collagen, vitamin c and MSM then on the outside you just prevent protein loss through things like henna

How did you handle the knots? Did you have to cut your hair? I have them very bad/so many that I'm thinking the only way to get ride of them is to cut All my hair off. I've done 2 huge cuts but they still exist and now on my edges. So I'm thinking it's the texture of my hair that's the issue...coiling around itself. Maybe it'll change during regrowth. Thoughts??
@nothandondlovuraw73882 жыл бұрын
Hi and welcome to my channel ☺ I keep my hair in twists all the time to avoid tangles, for single strand knots I've implemented a routine that involves henna which is great, checkout my videos on how I moisturise my hair and how I do the henna mask, that's the best thing I've done for managing knots and tangles. I have also done a video on how I detangle. Over the years I've been using aryuvedic herbs I found that my hair texture greatly improved, although I'm a tight 4c, the hair glides and is smooth from the conditioning effects of the herbs. Hope that helps

@nothandondlovuraw73882 жыл бұрын
The MSM I have been using I got from a local health supplements supplier and they have the capsules with powder and I empty it into water to dissolve. The MSM and collagen you just need to get a good quality brand hydrolyzed collagen peptides, I take the bovine and 10 000mg of protein per serving. Vitamin c I like the buffered vitamin c 1000mg. I like to incorporate chicken broth into my diet which I make from my free range chickens
