I just bought my first brand new bike and it’s a Honda Rebel 500. I’m already in LOVE with it. We have a VTX1800 and a Shadow Spirit. Both are great bikes but too heavy for me:

The Rebel 500 really surprised me with how fun it is. I've had a 2008 Shadow 750 Spirit and I know what you mean. The Rebel is so much lighter on its feet. The shadow is more aimed to be constantly a relaxed ride where the Rebel can swerve and curve much more aggressively.

How many miles did you put on the Bennelli before you sold it? I just picked up a brand new TNT600 today and so far I love it. I will probably own it forever just because of it’s uniqueness

I think around 2,000 or so. With some refinement to the fuel delivery it could've made one hell of a good bike but it wasn't the smoothest ride.

Congrats on the bike! Do you think you will still want to keep it after you finish all the modifications? I've seen where guys get a thrill out of modifying their bike, and once they have it just how they want it....they get bored of it and want a new project. Not saying thats what you will do, but this seems to be a trend among some riders.

I feel like I'll keep this one for a long time even after I get it personalized to me. My goal at this point is to customize it and if I get that urge for a different bike then I will ADD a bike to the garage instead of swapping them out. 😁

You’ll never be happy until you’re back on a Duke. I tried to replace it with others, never happened. Skip the 790, unless you get a great deal.
