I literally feel you on the wooden plugs. My sister gifted me a pair of gorgeous coconut wood plugs in 16mm for my birthday and I wore them to work on a rainy day and I took a plastic bag and wrapped it around my head and ears when I ran to my car bc I have seen a lot of wet wooden plug horror stories and I was SCARED. I haven’t worn them since but they’re so beautiful

@@EndangeredWood it really is. Lol....But I am satisfied with 5/8 finally. My second holes are stretched to 2g, so I can’t go any bigger. That was the reason why 00g was my original goal, but being that I wore only stone plugs, my ears stretched on their own. I seen that it wasn’t too bad next to my 2g’s so I went with the flow. But now that I’m at 5/8, I see that’s my limit.

Your style is so unique I love it! I noticed your lobes are different thickness around your holes. I remember reading that wearing hangers to stretch can cause uneven thickness around the hole, and make the bottom of the hole thinner. Your ears look nice and healthy, I'm just making that observation! I don't know if what I read is true or not. But just in case it is, I don't wear hangers just to be safe. Love your collection! I can't wait to get bigger and build my collection :D

Thank you! And yes they are different thicknesses because I got my ears pierced at a 4g before I started stretching and it gave me a bit of an uneven starting ground haha. I’ve never had a problem with hangers doing anything bad but I honestly almost never wear them! I mostly wear plugs and only wear hangers for special occasions :)

What I do when I wear hangers Is wearing tunnels and then hangers so it is an even hang. Yet shouldn’t use them all the time because it can cause irritation to the lobes

This is such an old video now I see.. I am just curious if you know.. I was just on Kaos looking for some of their Silicone.. I picked out a few pair.. but then I noticed something that makes it sound that you have to order 2 of each to have a pair? So essentially I had chosed about 34 dollars worth of silicone but that would really be about 68 dollars if I am understanding correct.. 68 dollars for 3 pair of silicone just doesnt sound right does it? I messaged them for clarity as well but who knows, maybe you will see this before they see the message I sent them! Thank you and great video. I have watched a couple now and enjoy!

But it seems with that pull, your lobes can carry a bigger stretch, what is your target size? BodyArtForms is where I find mine! But keep in mind, most don’t have adjustable wearable areas, the only ones I know that do are the Kaos Softwear earskins and those are only adjustable until a certain size

I’ve had my ears stretched at 9/16 for about 4 years. I’m wanting to move up to 5/8. Bought these tapers that have tunnels to screw in at the end. But I can’t get them in. I’ve had tried different kinds of stretching balms and still can’t get them to go in all the way. What should I do????

I would wait longer and massage your ears every day with oil for at least 5 minutes to stretch them out! Also wear heavier plugs :)

I just ordered some 13mm double flare plugs, but I can fit a 14mm single flare will my 13mm double flare stay in?

Most likely! Flares are usually 1-2mm bigger than the wearable size, which is the size you buy. Some flares are smaller, so I’ll leave my plugs out overnight if I want to wear a plug with a smaller flare, but typically they’re large enough that you would HAVE to be stretched at least 1mm bigger to fit :)
