my 5 years of animation progress

Yeah I almost forgot that i used to animate. Ive been using FlipaClip as my animation program for 5 years and still learning this year making at least decent animation content were it is high quality and I need to improve what am I doing now.
The animaton school is kind of useless (the illustration courses are decent) which gives the conclysion that you dont need to be in an animation school in order for you to start animating.
And most importantly “CONSISTENCE” and “PRACTICE” is way IMPORTANT than TALENT trust me that is way importantnit took me five years to realised that.

maybe it’s just me but animation school was pretty useful to me, despite the absent profs, procrastinator classmates, & with everything can be self-taught/learned in youtube anyway, having a curriculum/schedule to follow (& equipments to borrow) helped me learn alot. but at the same time yea, it comes down to applying/practicing the skills, so keep up the good work!

THIS IS AMAZING!!! And so motivating tbh! I've been doing digital art since 2016 but now that I want to give animation a try it feels daunting because I already know how long it takes to get to a decent skill level with a creative skill and how hard it is to keep going so you can get to the point where you like your own work. So when I think about starting to animate, visions of unfinished wips and frustration dance in my head, since it took years for that to stop happening with my non-animated art. This video reminded me that ultimately all that's needed to improve over time is the drive to keep going. Your progress was so tangible and I hope to reach your level someday and that you can keep improving as well!!!

As an animator myself... All of these animations... are beautiful in their own way. The amount of effort put into every one of these is incredible. Animating is no easy task, it not only requires drawing but patience. Most of us get tired after 1 drawing made but animators draw over thousands of frames/drawings to give their work life.
