My account also got banned for no reason. I got VAC-Banned 6 MONTHS AFTER I played CS GO the last time. I never had any cheats. When you have no community behind you, it is impossible to get the VAC-ban removed. It is frustrating, because Valve won´t even tell me why I got banned.

I had the similar situation, i wasnt banned for cheating, i was banned for scaming, so i had my whole account locked out and when i msg the steam support in short they told me they will contact the local authority, never the less i still pressed on and nothing. so every year or two i would send the ticket and after 4.5 years later i got my account back, everything was normal. but holy moly 4.5 years . i hope you get this thing resolved faster then they did mine. gl!

most likely because he did cheat or done something against terms of service who knows, but as a youtuber that is claiming to be legit and has not gone against tos he 100% should have done something about it 6 years ago when it happened. I'm guessing he knows what he done wrong and at the time accepted his fate and moved on, but now with new updates to gambling and valve banning some big accounts. He most likely thought it was a good idea to make this video to try and get his account unbanned due to recent csgo events... But we would never really know and if he did get false banned the chances is super super low and I would feel very sorry for him.
