That's a serious piece of machine there! Assume it has some kind of self propelling feature - or are you just super strong? Last cut of the season - had that a few weeks back. Always bittersweet, but hope you all have a great holiday season and look forward to some winter videos!

Both are self propelled the one I was using is pump driven and the one that my wife uses which she featured in " my darlings debut " is belt driven and cuts like a Cadillac. We've been using this type of mower for over 30 years so you could say we got our steps in 😆. We have a riding Husqvarna mower but tends to hurt our backs so it sits collecting dust and taking up space but it's a good back up if something goes wrong. We're a little slow with editing because of very pore internet here so getting the videos out quickly have been a huge frustration. But a Christmas 🎄 video is coming out soon so stay tuned. Thanks for watching my friend

@@thelongbranchhomestead1397 Those sound neat, especially in the valley's and ditches. Do you have Starlink available to you? Only reason I ask is we were in the same boat. Our place is in a valley on a mountain and in the middle of nowhere, so the internet is basically non existent. There's no cable, there's no fibre optic, heck there's barely any landline telephone. Best services we could find are line-of-sight towers, but because of the valley those required 75' or more towers to be built, and until they were, it was a guess if we could see anything (and if we did get those, they throttled the speed with other subscribers). We were paying $$$ with a Bell ZTE cell-phone hub system and a data cap but it did let us get some kind of connection - Eventually Elon came along and we tried it out. A little pricer then folks pay in the city but the difference has been absolutely incredible. Streaming 1080p on multiple devices with no upset, unless there's a major rain storm (and even then only for a few moments). I used to load up multiple things onto my laptop and drive out to the library in town to use their internet, and now I'm soaring without a care in the world. Not promoting the fella, but he's got it locked down with the Starlink for sure. Again - unknown if that's even available in your neck of the woods, but if it is, might be something to peruse the details of. Ms. Lady and I both work from home and it's been a game changer. Can't wait for the Christmas video!

@@thelongbranchhomestead1397 oh, just awful sleeping habits over here. Some nights I can't stay awake past 9 and I'm up by 5:00, other nights It'll be 3 am before I even consider hitting the hay (but still awake by 7) lol. No rest for the wicked I suppose. We're in the same timezone I believe, so pot meet kettle!!!! 😂😂😂🦉

That’s a lot of mowing on foot Joe , keeps you in shape I guess . Nice job

You said you can cut the time in half but did not say how long it took. I am guessing about one hour per acre for six hours total.

That's a good guess because when we do it together it's around 3 hrs

@@thelongbranchhomestead1397 Feel free to delete this comment because it is about Laura Farms but I think you might get a laugh from it. In her video today, "Mowing An ENORMOUS Lawn With My Tractor" She uses a JD7810, JD4020 and a Toro Z Master 2000. Just a note: A Toro 580D or 5910 would of run circles around this collection of machines!!
