I did a trip across a few states recently. Enjoyed the 5G on jio wherever it was available. The issue is still that of coverage. While in train signal was okay for voice but data speeds and stability was poor. The operators need to work on this. Also for me the slightly frustrating part is that the towers near my house aren't upgraded yet, so I need to travel about half kilometer to get 5g. Anyways the wifi at home is solid...

I am using both airtel 5G and jio 5G. I will say airtel 5G is much much better. Jio 5G is under testing mode and I have experienced call drops when network switches from 5G to 4G. Networking switching is not smooth and call experience is hampered a lot. Airtel switching is smooth and trust me don't give importance to speed tests. Airtel is best.

KZbinrs living in tier 1 cities take wifi for granted. Most of the poeple living in tier 2 and tier 3 cities still rely on mobile data and mobile hotspot to fulfill their internet needs. 5g is like a boon for these people. They can work from home using their 5g mobile data instead of waiting for jio and airtel to install fiber cables in the city.

Most tier 2 and tier 3 cities do have broadband connections now. Only villages are lagging in fiber connectivity, and that too not for long. There is no reason why one would prefer 5G over a fiber connection.

Try to put ur sim in supported device. Once your sim get 5g in that phone, put the sim in your phone. Set network preference to 5g in network settings and restart phone and see if ur phone gets 5g signal. If it still don't get 5g, to to devloper setting amd in 5g section, selectiom SA/NSA option, and re-start

To get proper 5G coverage we need to wait till this year end, first we have to check with Vonr and its working. Airtel 5G is consuming more Data, Jio is giving Unlimited data once it charges for data we will know real face of 5G.

Mere to room ke saamne hi Jio aur Airtel dono ka tower hai. Dono Dhakad chal raha hai. Airtel thoda zyada stable feel ho raha hai magar download speed Jio ka kamaal hai. Lagbhag 2 times hai. Main Patna me rahta hu aur ye mera experience hai. Mere phone me n28 band ka support nahi hai (Narzo 30 pro) VoNR ka update nahi aaya hai. Isiliye call drop bhi hota hai. Sir I have moto G51 5G mobile. Speed test is showing 1.3 Gbps maximum speed. But actual speed is maximum 50 Mbps. So 5G companies are cheating to people. When 8G will launch then we will get 1Gbps speed.

@@RahulPatil-mp7jc The speeds company claims are in Mega bits per second (Mbps) while the speed we see in our notification panel is in Mega Byte per second(MBps). 1 byte = 8 bit. So if any operator claims 1Gbps it means ideally we receive 125MBps but due to network congestion and loss of data signals while it is travelling we will receive even lesser than this.
