I went to Mauritius recently to visit family...... I could never live there.... awesome beaches on the west side. The thing is that once you experience the vastness of the Karoo , you are always drawn to it. It's a place of tranquility where you'll find your soul.... even better on a GS 😊

Interesting places. Thanks for the video. What was the temperature on the bike during the day, and did you have any issues with the bike? I'm considering doing a similar tour around the middle of the year on the Gentlemans Express (1997 ST1100 Pan European).

Hi thanks the temp around the coastal areas ranged around 27 degrees inland between 35 and highest 41 but I kept hydrated and my buff wet to stay cool…. No issues with my bike I keep it well maintained because I ride alone a lot
