and welcome to Vlogmas day 2! Today I'm finally getting a 60s sytle hair makeover. My hair was long overdue with the roots and the cut all grown out. So today I finally went to the salon to get it fixed and get a drastic colour change. I also had an Instagram story sale in the evening and I'm taking you along preparing the clothes and measuring everything.

Wow! Love the hair transformation! The dark color is stunning on you. The shorter bangs look great too! I have also colored my hair for years and now in my 50s I'm turning white so quickly. I've decided to go back to my natural color as well (have to admit that I didn't even know what that was). I've heard that it takes about 2 years (without coloring) for your hair to get back to it's natural state. I'm currently one year in and I kind of like the "salt & pepper" look my hair is taking on. So glad to see you back making videos. Congratulations on the pregnancy.

I really love your hair! Here's a little trick for that part in your bangs. You can take a little bit of Hairspray or better yet hair gel on your fingers and pinch the roots into the place you want them where your hair keeps splitting. If keep doing that it's going to train your hair to go straight in that area instead of parting on you. Make sure your hair is still wet when you do that.

I am still struggling to make my bangs/sidepieces look decent and have that 60s poofiness. My hair rejects heat, so it's really hard!

Maybe if you try wetting your hair and them brushing it into place? Or try using some hair oil, that really helped for me 🌼 I got my fingers crossed for you ❤️
