Such a relaxing and peaceful video as is your life. Yes I know you’re a teacher. I also know calm teachers usually have calm (as best as kids can be) students. Having worked as an elementary school secretary for over 20 yrs, we just knew whose class was coming down the hallway based on the sound and foot steps. Students are a reflection of their teacher for sure.😂🎉 Miss those days. ❤ have wonderful weekend and Happy Resurrection Sunday.

Thank you for this relaxed morning routine! I too teach 3rd grade and the pressure of state testing has me a little stressed to return from my lovely spring break! Your video was right on time for me. I want to hold on to my calm and bring that calm energy back with me to school!

I love to put on a relaxing scene w/sounds on my TV via KZbin to have going as I’m getting ready. I usually do one that matches season so right now doing lake ambiance, winter I do fireplace, summer I do beach, etc. I’m same with phone except Bible app & devotional related screen time is first thing I do, but no social media scrolling.

As a first year teacher, I need to get better at not snoozing in the morning, haha. Hopefully next year I will teach closer to where I live and can get in a walk/ prayer time in the morning and can wake up looking forward to that before the school days starts. Thanks for a great video!

I only hit snooze once and kept my phone away until I made it through my morning routine today! Loved this encouragement. I’m going to try to do this throughout this week to see how it helps me feel during the school day :) Love your lifestyle content!!

I always enjoy your videos. I need to try and wait to drink my coffee instead of drinking it during my devotional. I get up, wash face, make coffee, devotional, shower, make up, hair, dress, pack lunch, and out the door. 😊

I like to swim at 5:00 am for about 45 minutes. Then I come home pack my lunch, do my prayers, and gratitude list, and readings. I hit the shower at 7:00 get ready and I’m out the door by 7:45. I call my personal mentor on the way to work. I get to work and sign in by 8:05 then off to my room to set up and start the day! I use Dojo and mark all students absent so they can check in. I great them all at the door first.

I’m curious how long your routine takes? I know at the beginning it said your alarm was at 6. What time do you leave the house? When do you get to school and when do your kids enter the room? I try and keep my morning relaxed but I have a toddler and a long commute! On a perfect day I get up at 5:30, get my 2 year old up at 6, leave the house at 6:15, drop him off at daycare at 6:30, and get to school at 7. Then the kids enter the room at 7:15. There’s just not enough time in the morning! And I can’t drop my son off any earlier because daycare opens at 6:30.
@mrs_katie_in_elementary7 ай бұрын
I wake up at 6 o’clock and my entire routine usually takes anywhere between 50 minutes to an hour. I usually arrive at school at 7:15 but our kids don’t start coming into the room until 820. I am most productive in that morning time… And we are required to arrive by 745.
@carolinejohnson66077 ай бұрын
@@mrs_katie_in_elementary I wish I had more time in the morning before the kids came in! But we start at 7:35. I would definitely be more productive in the morning too! After school I’m just so drained!

I love your morning routine and it's something I want to do better with this upcoming school year. I want to include doing a morning devotional or just dive into the Word a bit before I start my day. This seems soo nice! What time do you arrive at school? I need to be at school by 7am. So I'm trying to gage what time I should be trying to wake up so I can do those kinds of things. 😊

i am at this intersection of my life with my career. I have two options which I love . one is in kinder teaching and the other is in cyber security. every video I watched about teaching so far on youtube was so negative and horrifying. they talk about underpaid , stressful, demanding aspects and very little pros. cyber security on the other hand has so many perks such as WFH and high pay! but as a graduate with both psychology ad criminology background ... I'm genuinely interested in teaching but I also have to think about bills and mortgage... after watching your video I sort of feel good. unlike others on YT you do have a life outside of work and it looks so peaceful! thanks for sharing as it actually gave me some hope that teaching might be a good choice.
@mrs_katie_in_elementary5 ай бұрын
@@ranminiwij6047 teaching is still a good career! There is SO much room for improvement in the education system, don’t get me wrong, but it is still fulfilling and possible IF you are very intentional about not bringing things home unless you have to and if you work for great admin!
