So cool to see my car from an outside perspective on a hot lap.
The Performante obviously has a big power (640 vs. 520) and grip (4WD vs. 2WD) advantage but still the new Porsche 991.2 GT3RS punches well above it's class!
It doesn't get any better than this!!!

you can see the different strength of both cars. lambo is a beast on straight line with these 10 cylinders but the Porsche is the boss at corners with that aero and traction!

The new gt3rs did 6min 56sec. huracan is 4sec faster+ aventador svj is no record for u? In the gt3rs vid they also used slicks, only 1 (racing) seat and a rollcage. Might as well say that‘s not rly a record.

Happy I have helped! But don’t be mistaken when you ever come to the ring to drive it for real. The sims are great to learn the track but what they don’t teach you are all the crazy bumps, these make the ring very difficult and dangerous because it unsettles the car and you can only feel this in reel life

In some parts of the video, it appears that the cars aren't moving by the scenery/background is moving around the cars. Great video. The driving lines are a little different and is interesting to see. That GT2 is quick!!

First of all thanks for your patient and kind responses in the past. How does a BTG lap compare to a full running lap in terms of time? Like maybe 10-15 seconds of top-speed driving depending on the starting point? I take it that no normal person is allowed to drive a flying lap around the Ring, ever? This is an amazing film, thanks for posting it. Both cars are just incredible.

Thanks for the kind words. The difference is between 15 & 25 seconds if you include the straight. So add this time to a BTG time to get more or less an official timing comparison. And yes you can do a full lap during track days. Only during Tourist Drives the straight is closed for people to easily exit the track safely.

From the video, it seems that the 3rs have a faster cornering speed. However, in the straights, the Performante just kills the 3rs. Make sense with the extra power, but just imagine the 992 gt3rs...

An idea; I propose a service that allows a driver/owner who wants to do a flying lap of the ring be led by a high performance car to accomplish his/her dream, driving his/her car. Have different time limits, eg sub 10:30, sub 10, sub 9:30..... sub 8 min, sub 7:30

The racing line is not always the ideal line at the NS. But be aware, I also made some mistakes as I went too fast into some corners and had to shed off speed before entering. 👊🏻
