“Dolcinea’s Medley” is a callback to the shooting star move from the starseer in Octopath 1. It’s a cool reference even though they eliminated that class. I bring her along for that reason.

While maybe not as good as these late game recruits, there is a phenomenal Gladiator in Montwise tavern at night. His skill does close to 30k damage on broken enemies and he can be recruited easily very early in the game upon your first visit. He needs Beast Liver which can be obtained from the goats in every area surrounding Montwise. Actually chose to not summon him for a bit because he could kill chapter 2 and 3 bosses the turn after first breaking them.

In the first game, I rocked Leon Bastralle as my 5th party member for the same reason. He had drip for days.

I wish they gave Ochette and Temenos summons passives just by being in the party. Hopefully they buff Cleric and hunter in the next game.

beat dread wolf with 100x with jewl cake... thought it was xp but it was jp. lol. its end game and already have all the jobs maxed out
