I really like this idea. I Iove my B6 stalogy for journalling and add a weekly spread as a record of the year. I frequently feel I could do with a bigger book and was considering the Hobo Cousin for 2021 but this is so much better as it can be tailored to my needs. Thank you for sharing x

Well it’s kind of a process lol! I’m not sure I could do a video on it 😬 But I used this video to help give me an idea of where to start with designing and cutting the vinyl using a Silhouette. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aafJmWWlgJypaZY And then you put the vinyl down on a piece of laminate (like how you make pocket dashboards Shannon at the Honey B Shop has a great tutorial on her channel for those. And then you put that into a laminating pouch, run it through your laminator and cut it down to size. I never did find a video on how other people make them specifically so I kind of had to wing it, which is why it would be really difficult to make a video showing the whole process 🤪

Do you have the measurements you used for the monthly and weekly pages? I want to try this but think it would take forever to plan it out. I have used the Cousin for years but there are things about it that I would love to change - Weeks behind the month, blank pages in between etc. Thanks.

The weekly columns- left side 9 squares in for the first column, 8 squares for the next two columns and then 9 squares. Right hand page is the exact same. For the monthly- sidebar is 9 squares and then each day is 8 squares over and 8 down. I left 2 squares down at the top of the calendar to write in the says of the week and then 1 square down for the date. If you’re on Instagram or Facebook I can send you pics, just let me know ☺️

I have sooo many questions!! I love all the sparkle! I am searching desperately for that star sticker paper...did you buy online or in store? I’m trying Michael’s and Hobby Lobby online and having no luck. Also, when you say you made the vinyl name sticker, what do people use to make those? Is it a Cricut? I want to purchase whatever it is that makes stuff like this, as well as ordinary stickers. I’m looking to make days of the week and month stickers instead of buying them all. And I don’t know what equipment I would need to purchase to do that. And lastly, but most odd, what color is your nail polish!? 🤣😍

Hi! Thanks for watching 😁 I love to answer questions so let’s start with the star paper-I bought it awhile ago, like a year ago probably and I bought it in the store. I did find one online, but it’s silver. It won’t let me link it here, but I’ll link it in the description ☺️ For the vinyls I have a Silhouette, but people also use the CRICUT machines as well. And then I use the free Silhouette software to design what i want to make. There are tons of videos on here, very helpful! That’s what I did to learn how to make what I wanted 🤗 And my nail polish is a gel, the kind that you use a UV lamp. I bought the polish and the lamp from Amazon, very affordable ☺️ I will post a links in the description box as well. Let me know if you have anymore questions ♥️

@@mandicook9136 goodness, I keep forgetting things lol! The nail polish- in the set I linked it’s the black glitter one and in the picture it’s the one on the far right. I was so nervous to try gel polish, so don’t be scared like me lol! It’s so fun and super easy! And SO economical rather than getting them done at a salon 🤗 I was actually shocked how easy it was!

What printer are you using Morgan? My printer just will not print on vellum.

I just have an HP inkjet, you have to let it dry really well and I do the lowest ink setting

how do you put the vellum in book

Hi! You can do it two ways-glue on the edge of the vellum and tuck it in to the book. Or you can use tape along the edge of the paper and use a straight edge like a ruler to put it between the pages ☺️
