Hey Warren. Great video as always!! So are you using an external Vocoder pedal or is the vocoder another plugin within Ableton?

Warren! Hailings from Jamaica! Bro you don't know how much I appreciate you for this. When I watched the first one, I was like to my band, "Family, I got a new setup coming .😎" So they all waiting to see what’s next. Told them about your video too. I got a few questions though. Hopefully it’s not too much. 1. Did you set this up all on your own, both Ableton and TouchOSC? 2. I am assuming you created a custom layout for TouchOSC, right? I literally bought it after watching your first video. 3. Did any other videos accompany you with setting everything up? 4. Is Session view better than Arrangement view for this kind of setup? I mostly use Arrangement view. 5. Lastly, what view do you control the songs from? I currently control them in Arrangement View with midi or key mapping. But with so many things already map on your setup, do you still control the verse, chorus, repeat from session view? I just subscribed and am looking forward to your responses and the new video!

Aundre! Thanks for the love brother. I will try to answer all your questions in order lol. 1. I did set this up on my own. 2. I did create a custom template that i actually give away in my consultations. 3. Yes there were many videos on KZbin that helped me get started with setting this up but this has also been a 15+ year journey of learning Ableton and TouchOSC so i don’t remember every video i watched lol. 4. For what I’m doing, session View is the best way to running my setup for Keyboard Rig. 5. We have a separate computer that is running stems at my church. I only use my laptop to run my keys rig.

This is awesome!!! I don’t think I quite caught how the empty instrument chains in the KEYS 1 MIDI channel were able to determine what MIDI got sent to each instrument channel though. Was there a way within each instrument channel (piano, pads, pulses) to choose MIDI from only certain chains that I missed? (I.e. Piano channel only receives MIDI when the Piano chain is selected etc.)
@OfficialYankNation4 ай бұрын
Yes that is correct. Sorry if i skipped that part. Once you’ve setup the master midi channel with the chain selector, you can choose on the instrument channel which chain under the “Keys 1 Midi” channel the instrument receives

@OfficialYankNation6 ай бұрын
So we use a program called Dante at out church which is an audio over Ethernet network. Some time it can be how you’re EQ’d that can get you buried in a mix too. A lot of us don’t like a lot of “mid” tone in our piano sound but that’s actually where most of the voice of the sound lives
