I had to get blood drawn before I started Accutane and after my first and second months of being on the pill

Mine didn't fade until after I completed Accutane. My dermatologist said acne scars really take time to fade. I have been off of Accutane for 2 months now and my scars have faded over time!

what did you use to exfoliate?

I used Mario Badescu Botanical Exfoliating Scrub! I only used it every once in a while, like maybe once a week

@bridget h I am right now taking accutane BUT if no one has told you, there’s an alternative called PANTOTHENIC ACID or vitamin B5. It works better from my experience with it and taking it close to a week now and it works just as effectively as accutane. Trying to help for future relapses as it can happen sadly. Cheers !

No hair loss at all! Only thing I noticed about my hair is that it didn’t get oily which was awesome because I only had to wash my hair once or twice a week!
