Good evening from Greece!!! It's been a month and a half since the "Epic" Love like the Galaxy "Epic" Series ended, so ingloriously, abruptly and "Medium" and I still can't get over it!!! I miss him so much and so do our very much in love and tormented Couple, Lee Bu Yi and Shao Sang !!! Wu Lei and Zhao Lu Xi who had taken on the Roles were amazing, both in the acting part and as a Couple!!! As I've written before, there was immediacy in their performances as they had tremendous Chemistry!!! Both played with "body" and "soul" at the same time!!! I wish there was one more episode that would show us their brilliant Wedding, which most of us expected to see in "The End" !!! Hardly and maybe after a while, to see such a Series again, a true "Masterpiece", a true "Work of Art" !!! I sincerely hope and wish that we will see this perfectly matched Couple again as soon as possible in another, new Series!!! With the "worship" surrounding them by the majority of the TV Audience, their talent and the Chemistry between them, the success of their new Series will definitely be Guaranteed!!! We wait and hope with anxiety because as they say "Hope Always Dies Last!!!

Scenes like this really show what their personal relationship was like. The Emperor and Concubine Yue were both good to her, but she was definitely a third wheel. She had to see them being so in love with each other and couldn't find someone of her own. That plus her kids were either ineffective or scheming. It was so sweet when she said she wanted CSS and LBY to be her kids in her next life.

I feel so sorry for the empress in this scene. Especially when you remember her deathbed scene and how she finally told the emperor how miserable she'd been all those years. Thankfully, she had Shaoshang in her last years. But still, you see just how alone she had to have felt, while trying to maintain that "All's good! Couldn't be happier" facade that the world expected to see.

I feel sorry for the Empress. She is always left out of the true love between the Emperor and his Concubine. Her children are mostly selfish, incompetent, or psychotic. The motherly love she has for NN is very welcomed and they form a close bond.
