Nikki you’re an incredible inspiration. I was 48 and just had my home built when I became very ill. Within a years time I had changed from being an active wife,mother and nurse to being bedridden. That was 2004. I had to sell my home , a home that I never had the chance to furnish or just enjoy. My husband became my caregiver. It’s now 15 years later and I was just becoming stronger and beginning to rekindle my relationship with my husband transitioning from being very dependent to becoming more independent. Then tragedy struck. My husband suddenly died. People would ask me how I kept smiling and I would reply that I have a lot to be happy about. My illness has been humbling and I know I’m better for it. I listen to you and I know you’re in pain, as a nurse and because I too suffered with overwhelming pain at times. What I’m saying to you young lady is that your day will come and God will heal you. Thank you so very much for sharing your awesome story and pictures. Although I don’t personally know you I can say that I think that you’re a very kind person and that goes for your husband also. I look forward to seeing your beautiful pictures.

Rosemary, I want to thank you so much for sharing your story. You brought tears to my eyes and inspiration to my heart. I know that God will not give me any more than I can take. He is testing both my strength and my humility. I also am blessed to have a husband who cares for me and a young adult son who helps out whenever he can. I'm so sorry you lost your husband, words escape me. However, You've been more inspiration to me than I can say. What a wonderful world that we can connect in such a forum as this. Great set up! I don't colour in bed as I don't have the right tables, etc but I colour in my armchair and have a pile of colouring books down by my side and tubs for pens, pencils and sharpenings on the arms of the chair. Recently become addicted to colouring again and you are one of my main inspirations! It helps me get through days of stress and pain and I'm trying my best to improve but mostly want to have fun as it's something I did a lot as a kid :)

Oh my gosh Nikki. I did not realize you were bed bound. That must be so difficult. Your set up is wonderful no wonder you are so productive coloring so many lovely pages. Thank you for sharing this. I myself am stuck in bed many days. i use an old hospital table i bought at second hand store. and i use a bamboo thing made for reading to color on.This video me more ideas, thank you again.

I really enjoyed your Supplies collection video. I really want to get the 72 set of Inktense but Im going to wait until the spring, It seems Amazon lowers prices at that time. I love the ain shan pencil cases, I hve one and love it. I just bough a pencil case that fits 168and it is a whole lot slimmer than the aian shan, about half the size The price is excellent @ $21 you can beat that. Thank you so much for sharing, I love watching supply collections.

I was bed bound for a month due to my gallbladder op.I couldn't sit up .I was propped on four cushions and I had a slide in table with a hospital tray and I was able to colour reasonably comfortably.

This video was so needed today I was thinking about pencil cases and making my room run a little smoother. After seeing the cases you are right they might be too bulky for moving with just one strong hand. I'm recovering from a hand injury. I do like the acrylic boxes that might work better for my space will try that out. Thanks for your time. ❤🤗 blessings.

I use a pillow chair and have the "man" size one. Very comfy, helps keep the back straight and of course my tables help keep me upright too, no slouching.

Hi Deb, I'm not sure if amazon sells the 3-tiered carts but the official name for them is "utility cart" and I found one of mine at a Canadian car and home hardware shop by searching for the words I just mentioned. The other I got at Michaels.

I got the table from amazon! They have all kinds from small tables with no shelving to great big metal ones just like the hospital ones.

OMG !! I never thought f looking on Amazon for one there. I am in a wheelchair with very little walking and I need to rest in the afternoons and in bed at night for 12 hours or more So I've been thinking I would like a table. Ty for telling me

I have those carts but my are super wiggly they dont stay tight together like when you move them they arent sturdy at all do u have thos same issue?

No, mine are quite sturdy. Just recently though the wheel just fell off the Michael's one. It just screwed back in but must have wiggled itself off from all the wheeling around my room.

Hi Marla, I buy most items from Amazon but also use places like Michaels and sites like scrapbooking.com. It's taken me years to have the supplier I now have, decades even. I've been doing some kind of art or craft my entire life but seriously doing mixed-media and colouring since the mid-nineties. So it's all a lifetime but I have bought a lot of new stuff in the last 8 or so years.

@@NikkiinNiagara wow I've started collecting adult coloring books in 2015. So far I've got 2 boxes full of them. My favorite books are the zendoodle, Joanna's Bastford,creative havens. I've completed 3 books and I'm working n 2 more. I use gel pens.

Oh it's so importend for me to see that there are more people like me, that have to lie in bed all the time. I habe a little tablett-table, that I can put in bed and color on it.
