Despite me hating their need for advanced dark to be on the field. If this was 2008 I would be crying for joy because CBs were my favorite deck way back in the day

It’s actually pretty smart. Have advanced dark on the field, then if you can all the advanced Crystal beasts onto the field and still have a space open for a spell card, you could MST your own advanced dark to instantly destroy them all and then banish them for Rainbow Dark Dragon.

Forgive me if this seems like a dumb question, but would it not be better to run the normal Rainbow Dragon instead of Rainbow Dark? Rainbow Dark banishes the CBs where as the normal one doesn't, so if you banish them with the dark you then can't bring out the big overdrive ultimate Crystal dragon because all the CBs have already been banished. Was play testing this build of yours and it's good but you kill all your possibility of the big guy if you opt for the Rainbow Dark instead of normal Rainbow

Id say replace Rainbow Dark Dragon with normal Rainbow Dragon if you are gonna run Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Overdrive, cause Rainbow dark makes you banish 7 monsters while rainbow dragon doesnt

These things got shafted big time due to 2 major things. 1. Set Rotation wasn't in the Crystal Beast structure deck which is needed so you can also use Ancient City Rainbow Ruins (AKA the Crystal Beast field spell that's well GOOD) And 2. They go straight to the graveyard instead of the backrow if Advanced Dark isn't on the field.

Yeah but if they all go to the graveyard, you can banish all 7 from the graveyard for rainbow dark dragon.

Love this build...ur vampire builds is the reason I started picking up vampire cards..and I have a question for a deck idea..would branded and advanced crystal beast work well together and if not what would u recommend for adv.crystal beast?

Another good choice for a boss monster is Hamon. Gets rid of 3 count opus spells (crystal beast) to bring itself out

I think you made a little mistake in the Extra Deck with Chidori. You can still summon it with two regular Pegasus but because Advanced Dark should be on the field all the time, everything turns Dark anyway and the Advanced Beasts can’t stay on the field without it. But I can be wrong there. Still it makes me happy to see Deck Profiles of my favorite archetype in 2022. I hope we get once in a while treated with new support.

Advanced crystal Pegasus would always be dark on the field not wind as it can’t exist with out the field spell

Sharing this video to a friend of mine. For any replacement for regular Sapphire Pegasus one could do Ash Blossom hand traps or even Metaverse to help search for the field spell.

you think its possible to run both Crystal beasts and their Advanced counter parts together or do they not mix well?

So Ruby, Pegasus and Mammoth do work on their Advanced counterparts since they are all Crystal Beasts but Tortoise, Tiger, Eagle and Cat are self contained and/or are comparatively worse than their Advanced counterparts; the Advanced Beasts are also selfish granting their bonuses only to other Advanced Beasts. And because almost all Advanced Beasts are better than their standard forms (an argument can be made between standard Ruby and Advanced Ruby since the fomer works when special summoned by any effect, such as Crystal Beacon), It is generally not a good idea to mix and match both forms IMO aside from the previously mentioned Ruby and Pegasus as seen in the deck.

Advance dark is a means to an end you only need it for advance ruby summon after that you never need it again so idk the hate advance gets
