That is so true! Three tours of duty while stationed in the Navy in Yokosuka. The Japanese people, the food, the Cherry blossoms, Shimoda Black ship festival, Hokkaido snow festivals, snow monkeys, excellent train system, very engaged community. Lived out in the economy with awesome neighbors! Only got the "Cold Shoulder" a few times while in Okinawa, but that's because there's US Marines stationed there causing hate and discontent! Not all the time though. Great place to SCUBA dive.

You are absolutely correct. The Japanese people ( as a whole ) are far more hospitable kind than that of, say NYC or LA. We have very kind people here in the US as well unfortunately not as prevalent in places such as the larger metropolitan areas.

Japan is one of the places on my bucket list. I know a lot of people who have been (including my parents) and no one had anything bad to say about their experience there. I guess we could learn a thing or two from them on being more polite to one another.

Japan is amazing. My buddy left his laptop by accident at a restaurant. The waiter came SPRINTING at us to give it back. On another occasion, we tipped, and a waitress did the same thing 😂 Been twice, want to go back again. Lovely country.

As a soldier i have to highly suggest against leaving an unattended backpack anywhere as it may be misconstrued as a bomb or nefarious activities just what we've been taught in training amd we're always told to report such sightings of unattended pkgs or bags to be investigated...

Wow great video! I enjoy your short videos and had no idea you create this content! We should definitely take a close look at our culture and finally get rid of the disrespectful characteristics while adopting the parts we do enjoy from other cultures. It can be done just got to strive to do so every day and eventually the jerk part of USA will become so shamed of their attitude that they change or others will notice the difference and strive to be like the very positive type

Japanese people are amazing. Some aspects of their culture is messed up but the individuals are gems. They have to be because to fit so many people in such a small space with an incredibly low crime rate everyone has to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Cops rarely if ever carry guns. When i say some aspects are messed up i refer to things like rapes often not being investigated so maybe thats the other side of the coin. Cant go against the grain, talk loud or stir shit because thats shameful behavior. So interesting. I think occidental cultures have lots to learn from them and the other way around too. Especially the new generation are so eager to know us. Anyhow, japanese are some of the best people ive met and whenever i meet one over here i make sure to go above and beyond to make them feel welcome like they do for us. ❤ Japan!
