I love how FF is just an unpredictable game, like one day you will be fishing only trash with no monster in sight, the other you will get a rare fish and fight weirdos and creatures to just keep that fish, that's probably going to sell for nothing

Let me tell you a story of how i lost an algae king. It was in 2021, covid was a huge thing and I was still in mid game (i think i had fl set and stargun). I bought the matumada house because one of my friends told me to get it for mandrake seed. At this point, i already got access to advance task because i did so many slayer task. So while i'm waiting for the mandrake seed task i decided to explore and just have fun. I discovered that bird nests exists, attempted to fight first knight (it healed so i bailed), and just talk to my friends and have fun. Anyway, the conversation leads to my friend talking about how fishing page is the hardest itempedia page to complete and he told me that there is a very special fish in matumada that have a less than 1% chance be caught. At this time i didnt know how grindy FF is in terms of "luck". Sure i knew that you need a lot of money to progress through the game, but i never account that luck plays a huge factor to your playthrough. Anyway tried fishing in matumada mainly just for fun. I only ever exclusively fish in RH (for deep sea) before this and i pretty much doesnt have anything else to do since i was still waiting for the task cd. I end up abandoning the task all together since i got caught up in the conversation so i was just fishing at this point. I pretty much lost track of time and i think i fished for a couple of hours. Until i suddenly heard a loud cheering noise and i saw a behemoth of green mass covering up half of my screen as my player character lifted the bane of all itempedia completionist: the ever so elusive "Algae King". Ok look... you dont need to be an expert to know that this thing is worth a LOT. I already look up a picture of algae kibg in the wiki since my friend mentioned him and I DID NOT expect it to be that huge. So i did what any sane person would do when they get a 0.04% item. I typed in the chat "ALGAE KING" "ALGAE KING" "ALGAE KING" and quickly teleport to topple town. It was absolutely hype as my friend was malding and saying how lucky i was and how jelous he is until... my heart sanked. I opened my inventory and i didnt see any algae king there. My inventory was filled to the brimmed with normal fish. And then horror stuck as i realized... i never got the itempedia notification for discovering a new item.... My inventory.... was full at the time of catching algae king.... and the item was DROPPED in matumada. I already teleported to topple.... HOLY CRAP I LEFT IT IN MATUMADA I quickly ran back to the fishing spot, but it was too late. The item despawned. Not only did i miss out the money, the itempedia didnt even register that i already caught it. I ended up quitting and not playing for couple of days. I already finished both itempedia now. It took like 3 dats to get a second algae king (which sucks), but weirdly enough the last fish i needed was jerryfish out of all things.

when i got a good weapon i was getting chased by alot of mobs 2 doll hunter a few wolves a red croc and a titanium knight sadly i couldnt kill most of them and bandits spawn

Multiplayer, although the servers are 6 players max and the map is big so you dont really run into anyone
