My Alcoholic Friends ~ The Dresen Dolls 《sped up》
♤i don't own the song! all credits go to the band♤
♡ilyasm♡
◇lyrics ◇
I'm counting back
The number of the steps
It took for me to get
Back on the wagon of the weekend
I'll use the auto-timer to prove that I'll
Get home with my imagination
If they find the body in the basement
"In the very house that she was raised in"
I'm taking down
The number of the Times
So when we get the sign
From God I'll be the first to call them
I'm taking back the number of the beast
'Cause six is not a pretty number
Eight or three are definitely better
A is for the address on the letter
To my alcoholic friends
I'm trying hard
Not to be ashamed
Not to know the name
Of who is waking up beside me
Or the date, the season or the city
But at least the ceiling's very pretty
And if you are holding it against me
I'll be on my best behavior
Taking shots for mother nature
Once my fist is in the cupboard
Love is never falling over
(Hey)
Should I choose a noble occupation?
If I did I'd only show up late and sick
And they would stare at me with hatred
Plus my only natural talent's wasted on my alcoholic friends
My alcoholic friends
The party never ends
My alcoholic friends

its giving the lupin three from bungo stray dogs! bsd spoilers ahead!! | | | | | | it all starts off with a kid in the port mafia! dazai osamu ¿fifteen? years old. dazai osamu has a friend. named odasaku! odasaku was also in the port mafia! odasaku is in his mid twenties or older. and ango. ango is not in the port mafia he is a government investigator. all enjoy going to a bar! a bar called "lupin" odasaku had a lupin match box. dazai felt like he belonged somewhere he felt happy! but it didn't last long. sadly odasaku died. odasaku was shot by someone and mori the port mafia boss set it all up. odasaku died in his arms and told him "i wanted curry" and to go to the "good side and help people." which was the armed detective agency. dazai after his death went to the detective agency to live his new life. but before odasaku died he gave dazai the small lupin match box. as a gift for him. dazai lived a new life but ango just lived on after it. as a government investigator. all them said this one phrase in the show. which was "To the stray dogs!" which leads to the name of the show. Bungo stray dog.

This reminds me of my alcoholic stepdad, when I first met him I called him my “friend” recently when he left my mother I wrote him a note, telling him how I actually felt about him 3 years after I met him, he called my moms phone wanting to talk to me and he told me that he was sorry so much and he hopes I can forgive him. After what he did, I don’t think I can

@@eggmansexwife it's a reference to this scale, not sure what it's called but 3 means you are a little but drunk but still aware of your surroundings and basically sober. 8 means you are black out drunk. 6 means you are very drunk but you are still aware of your surroundings. I think she's tryna say how she would rather be sober or black out drunk because either way she won't feel guilt. But 6 is what makes her feel guilty.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 2:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42.I am currently crying so hard right now. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. Cat dancing has changed my life for the better. It really inspired me to become an outstanding young man. Thank you.

For the people that came here from the Good Omens animatic, little fun fact: Amanda, the woman singing this song, is part of the duo The Dresden Dolls. She was married to Neil Gaiman. Neil Gaiman is famously known for being the author of Coraline and Good Omens (coauthoring with Sir Terry Pratchett). Your welcome.

i think it’s referring to how drunk you are, like 8 being completely drunk and 3 being sober. Sort of showing she would rather be somewhat drunk rather than fully or sober (thats my guess and im pretty sure i saw another comment saying this but im on completely sure and im not the best at explaining things)
