It took me to deeper worship this morning... it took me down the timeline of God's great works in my life in standing by my side to give victory, strength, needed miracles, and much more. I have to say that life is not life without God, Who is my all and my reason for living. When the tears came and I could no longer sing with the choir, they spoke for me. This is such a powerful and anointed song. God Bless everyone involved in making it. God is Awesome and this choir expresses this truth and more so very well. It is no wonder that those of us who know Him love Him so much. He is Faithful and full of mercy, love, grace, and wonder. He is Almighty and He Is ... Life. I treasure this song. It is one that my sisters and I use to sing as teenagers together in a capella harmony. The eldest of the three of us (of five sisters), Jonnetta, died December 12, 2016 and this song is a beautiful reminder of her. I can hear her singing with the choir, though I know it is another voice similar to hers - yet, representing her in every way to my heart. She taught it to my youngest sister and I (who is next to the youngest). It is our song and certainly their's, too. I enjoy hearing Ricky Dillard and the choir sing this song. In fact, I love his choir and Ricky Dillard is indisputably one of the few most prolific, creative, effective, and distinctly unique choir directors today. There is never a time that I hear it that I am not brought to tears about how much God is and means to me ... He is my everything. He is certainly everything, too, to the choir members and those in the audience pouring their hearts out to God. So, I am about to listen and sing along as I worship. God Bless Dr. Dillard and the choir for this production and for sharing it with us.
