I watched a 2.1k mmr player today. They went mass Huntress, then got farseer as the first heroe so the wolves tanked (pure skill), then eventually got a PotM as second hero (again, pure skill). It was very educational

VT is a nice guy. ive played ds with him on and off for many years, since the very first versions. nice to see him still playing, shame he only plays w3c now because i dont run into him anymore, i play on and off but only on normal game, sometimes premades with people from back in the days, like VT.

I like the fact that Grubby is still a beginner in this mode. Feels more enjoyable watching him learning how to play, red player definitely has better understanding and intuition of the game compared to Grubby right now. But i think Grubby will end up being the better player for sure. Currently what separates him from the red guy is knowing when to build damage,tankiness, go for the 2nd mine or go for tiers.

>Currently what separates him from the red guy is knowing when to build damage,tankiness, go for the 2nd mine or go for tiers. more than just this. grubby doesnt know the type of more odd counters you can employ in ds through specific positioning, he doesnt seem to really know the odd case weird strats that do have very niche spots for working, or the amount of a specific unit needed to get a critical mass where it goes from useless to doing something. for example there are cases where you can add mass amount of flying machines to clutch out a game, but we're talking about a very large amount all at once. VT has played DS since the very first versions, i know this for a fact since ive had him on friends, with a bunch of other oldschool dstrikers and played with him on and off since. he's one of few for example who have played the test only version of DS, before mix was a thing, where instead the direction was to make entirely separate races for Dstrike.

This mode rly needs a "whole army move" option instead of single targets moves, saves a lot of time for early-mid game strats

😅 In Danish, (and therefore also for Danes speaking English) "a couple" can mean anything that *feels like two* 😂 If I say I'll pick up a couple of melons, it means 2. If I am picking up a couple of cupcakes, it means 2-3. If I'm eating my roommate's pistachios, "a couple" means a small handful 😂

Dryads are fairly low dps - even if they would clear, fights take so long with slow that stacks become more likely. Could be a good staller to stack when behind in the early game

Damn I wish this had a vs AI single player mode so I could practice. Instead, playing means I lose the game for my team for probably hundreds of games before I really get the hang of it. As such... this just isn't a game I'll ever be able to play.

Eh play on bnet. I just started 5 days ago and win 50% of my games. If you need a handicap just be on the same side as the host lol.

nah man if you go through the suffering of losing most your first 8-10 games you'll be matched with people of your level. If you've watched a lot of Grubby you'll do good at that point and start having a lot of fun. Bnet can be rough for a true newb because you have no idea what skill level you are playing against ever

Just because I hate when corrections are incorrect... "Advice" is not the plural of "advice". If it were you would say "these advice" or "the advice are". The reason "advices" is not common is because advice is a mass noun, not a count noun. Mass nouns are basically nouns that talk about something as a heap rather than individually, e.g. "I ate some corn" not "I ate four corns". However many mass nouns can also be used as count nouns, e.g. you can talk about "apple" as a mass or "two apples" as individual items. Without getting excessively snarky about it, I realise that most native speakers of English don't actually learn any grammar in their studies. But this can make it quite awkward to talk about the language with non-native speakers. I think it's quite likely that Grubby actually knows more about English grammar than you do for instance, even though he would make more mistakes about things that come down to native speaker intuition. I doubt he would be confused about whether a noun is singular or plural, for instance.

greetings from brazil S2 Could you try some different strategies? It would be an Elf (Potm full aura) + Kobold Taskmaster strategy (mercenary). I see Shadow Priest being used a lot, but the other mercenaries are not. Human (M.K. full bash 3 & 2 Clap) + Unbroken Darkweaver (mercenary).
