Yeah, its true. I lived on a working island in the Philippines for 5 years and I can tell you that after a short while I likened it to living on the set of the TV show Shameless but just in the jungle not a council estate. The people are inbreeds. A lot of them have never even left the island. They have zero education. Massive {usually warring} families. Hardly a pot to piss in. Absolutely zero etiquette, dignity or manners - especially when it comes to money. They are the worst gossipers, shit stirrers and back stabbers. That's especially true of the women. If you have any possessions, they think they have every right to take them/steal them or 'borrow' them. They do not know the value of money. They live completely in the moment. They never think forward. If they have it they spend it or eat it. But, ya know, it's really hard to know about that shit until your in the middle of it. Simple country folk. Close to savage. I mean for example, on the island i lived on it was not unusual for dogs to be eaten because people were poor. The mortality rate is low. No health service to write home about. Their outlook on life is so completely alien to ours that we can never understand it, but it takes a lot of stamina and patience to live with such people. I'm living in Thailand now and I prefer it here because it's so more advanced than the Philippines. But, yeah, I bet there's still plenty of rural places here that still have these backwards ass people and extended families. LOL. I recently visited my gfs village near Kohn Kaen and I lost track of how many cousins and aunts etc etc she had in the close vicinity. As far as I could tell they were all good sorts, but I wouldn't live there for all the tea in China. Been there done that. Families will be constantly begging and interfering at best. Also. while I'm on it, these cultures have firm beliefs in witchcraft and 'luck' and spells and all that hocus pocus. I not only find that really irritating and archaic, but it can also be quite scary to be living in that environment. It really effects people and their daily lives. many superstitions. They are serious about it. You might find this far fetched, but it was common knowledge where I lived and the island nearby that old people would poison younger people to gain their spirit and vigour and have higher mortality. Have a nice day ya'll :-)

Hey guys Dave here thanks for all the comments and feedback. Sorry I left a lot of details out. I was responding to the video and wanted to share a taste of what could be expected when moving in with your wife and her family here in Thailand. I will speak to Dan's honesty he obviously reads your chats and emails of your stories he read my email per badom. Thanks Dan for listening and all of you viewer. Sorry if I ramble or my spelling sucks. I still have a lot of nerve damage on my left arm and both hands. Do I get tired when I type. I'll fill in some blanks for some of you folks. First: I'm neither broke or poor. I came to Thailand with an open mind. If things work out I will return to the states and liquidate assets I have plenty tk fully retire Abroad. I made a contract with myself to live by a strict budget until I decide to remain here permanently. Second: My wife is not a Bar Girl. She has a masters degree in accounting and worked for a business until the Covide lockdowns. Businesses shut down so she started a business with her sister. Her getting a Visa to America wouldn't be a problem we have looked into it extensively and have a lawyer that will help with that process. Her going to America would be a huge blow to her immediate family. And honestly I would rather go back for visits only to see my family back home.

Bringing your Thai girl home to the US has other pitfalls, she will become lonely like you in Thailand. She will eventually befriend other Thai girls, these new Thai girls may have been bargirls previously or maybe they are the money hungry status type. Watch out if they start the competitive talk about how much money their Husband gives etc.. hopefully your wife doesn't get sucked into that type of thinking and start looking for better options.

in the context of thailand and these stories it is highly unlikely an affluent, fit, reasonable decent looking man, footballer, athlete, etc would choose the average thai girl no less the typical farang tg low education, poor farming background (exceptions duly noted and even the average thai uni degree does not mean much) also the wives of such affluent footballers, etc are typically highly successful/affluent themselves. some examples; david bekham and Victoria of spice girls. footballer Gerard Piqué and Shakira, an international superstar with MONEY and high IQ high achiever. brad pitt and angelina jolie both wealthy. many more examples. yes you can find cases of very old wealthy guys or wealthy less fit ones that sponsor attractive wives because that is the only way they can get such a woman. an analogy is me going to a freelance, beer bar or gogo bar and hiring a girl where bilateral chemistry does not exist simply not worth the time or money, imagine a marriage based on this?

I would not bother with over analysis, stop the pollution. Be firm, talk to the wife first what you want and to include her and not alienate, then immediately tell the family you are now going to be firm what you want and the the relationship to be or you are Mr Gonzo. Period. If the family goes berserk and do not respect you and they only wants to be toxic in your life, move out. Life is too short, you have had several shots over the bow to warn you how precious life is. If it has to be another place to live, the sooner the better to get on with a good life.

Families are tough and I don't want her to alienate hers. I'm hoping for the best and have plans for the worst It's sad I'm actually a really chill happy go lucky guy. Thank you. You definitely sound like a good person. Perhaps like me, a lot of your life in the "providing for others" mode and really not thinking of yourself. My career of construction, electronic engineer, social work, lighting design, etc. ... just a curious cat type of guy. My life of being married to an aboriginal, Married to a Chinese. Passed away so I suppose I was here to help them on their journey? Study philosophy ... so I can ramble on a lot with diversity and observation. My Chinese wife at first drove me a bit crazy with her always reminding me " What are you enabling? " A good line to stop and ponder. Perhaps one for you? You walk a path of family interaction in a different culture. Some things are universal at the same time. Be diplomatic, calm, never raising voice, respect, never rush an answer. These are all good things In your shoes I may say to the wife; I am sad for her father (family?) not being happy. I am not responsible with what the family chooses. What they do is their choice. I have intent of being in a happy life together. ( For myself, I personally follow the eight fold path of Buddhism as a life and conduct guide ). Well that needs some fine tuning, however I think you understand my intent there. Sometimes things get harder before they get better. Best wishes for your journey.

Okay here's a question that hasn't been answered by all the Thai KZbin channels - you seem totally honest and upfront so maybe you can answer it - what is it that these Thai girls are doing in the sack that is any different from what western girls do? Yes I realise they all over you and make you feel like you so amazing - but that bs doesn't last long - so what do they do in the sack that western girls don't do to make these western guys so smitten? A video on this I think?
@runningfreerunningfree2 жыл бұрын
For me what happens in the sack is important but not the focus of why I am so "smitten". I am more than pleased with with the regular nighttime "exercise program she initiates on a regular basis 😀 But truth is she's like no western woman I've ever experienced. She makes love to me all day with her actions: She's the most "Feminine" (not submissive) woman I've ever encountered and and proud of her Femininity. All the western women I have been with and I was married more than once had a chip on their shoulders. Always seemed to be in competition with men. Shit watch American Media they are struggling trying to define what a woman is I'm sorry I could not answer your question and be more graphic. I'm not into bar girls so I don't have any experience there.. Come to Thailand take your time. Lots of lovely real women here. Experience it for yourself. Just don't live with her family, haha, thats my only issue here in Thailand. It's a cultural thing.
