I have asked this question on multiple platforms as well as asking Amazon directly and I have never received an answer. I see others asking you this as well. Do you need to be at a certain tier in order to use merch ads? If I can't use merch ads, can I use regular Amazon ads for merch products. I have tried to do so but it always fails. Is it necessary to have a seller central account in order to run regular ads? I've had my products list for well over a year with no sales. I finally bought a couple so I can at least work my way out of the bottom tier. Getting frustrated. I appreciate the advice.

So you need to be in the higher tiers like tier 1,000 and above. They don't tell exactly what tier but the tab will be available when they release it on your account

OG, 40K merch seller here. my numbers rn are lower than 2020 numbers which is horrible. Anybody else voice this?

Some of my top selling products arent doing as good as they were in 2020. Now keep in mind there are different trends going on at the moment you may have to update a catalog for different designs. What worked in 2020 most likely isnt trending in 2025.

Hey Adam, Its just a rule Amazon ads has. They will suspended the ad.

@@nosabasuang Amazon has always been strict on selling on the platform. There is an invite process. I would try to apply if that doesn't work. I would recommend to KDP , Redbubble or Etsy.
