I think it says in the instructions for the Hyaluronic acid that you should use a cream product on top of it to diffuse the acid. I personally use the Tatcha Dewey skin cream on top of it and it is beautiful.

The Niacinamide 10% Zinc 1% from the Ordinary has been life changing for me. If anyone has acne scars, cystic acne, fine lines.. then get it. I apply it after washing and toning and after 1 month my scars were 50% gone. I have a friend that uses an electric coffee warmer for her candles - to throw fragrance of a scented candle without actually lighting it. It's a nice dorm-friendly, pre-teen product, if you're not able to light candles. I say give the electric coffee warmer a try. You maybe able to find them at Five Below, or The Dollar Store.
