Love your philosophy on decorating and doing it well. Most travelled lived in areas of the house I agree need that wow factor ( your inhabiting that area the most while at home) where as the least areas of lounging doesnt need the "foo foo" drama. Sometimes I just wait a year. There was really pricey tile I found that I wanted for my house at a high end tile place. It would’ve cost $20,000 just to do my main floor which was kitchen, dining, living and big entryway. A year later I found that same tile at a discounted (last years ) tile place. We bought it. Total price $1,800 ! DEAL !

I love the lucite. I have an old vintage Hollywood regency lucite vanity. I feel like a movie star putting on my makeup there. Lucite is hot! But I don't know if I'd trip over those tables after a few cocktails.

Funny I remember when Christopher Knight ( Peter Brady from The Brady Bunch ) was on a show called, “My Fair Brady”, and talked back then around 2005 about his housewares. I bought his furniture and Mattress on Overstock starting 2017, I just bought 2 nice chairs for my bedroom a month ago, I like his taste and yours! Nice quality, just not super expensive.

I shop Amazon also for the house, but comes furniture I love the Amish wood work in furniture they are so well built. I like real wood that's gonna last not this plywood stuff that's stapled together it s flimsy .
