Forget the box art, do your own thing!! Think outside the box, and work at one-upping yourself, for yourself!! Nobody else. Your doing some great work, and just the few months I've been watching your channel I see you trying lot's of new things and progressing!!! It's always a learning experience! I see so much kool stuff people are doing now, it's such a great motivator!!! None of us are ever too old to learn something new! Keep up the great work!

Thanks Fella, Funny what inspires different Modelers when it comes to choices/projects.. Your hooked on Box Art and I'm hooked on looking for 3 n 1 kits and combining the Drag and Custom versions Into a 50s, 60s, 70s Hot/Street Rod. The kinda of cars that raced at local drag strips and looked to call out locals in a Friday/Saturday night drive around. I personally don't care for Lowriders, Excessive Chrome and those high profile tires with Huge Rims and No rubber. Lol, but that's me and I Guess it just boils down to...What Floats your Boat. Good Stuff, Thanks again

I feel much the same. I build most car kits the way we used to set up our muscle cars in the 1970s. I detest the huge wheels/ultra-low profile tires. Just not my style. I like to have some suspension travel. 😊
@glensmodels2 ай бұрын
I agree I don't like those big rims with low profile tires either when I see one it looks like somebody stole the tires and left the car sitting on the rims

An American Hot Rod was meant to have skinny's on front and Fat Ass Meats on rear. Americana at its Best

It is amazing, but that's what makes this community so great! Do you like to build old school drag racers or all of them? Thanks for watching 😎👍

I built my Son his dream car around a yr ago a 1970 SS Chevelle lol, he wanted a 396 in it, but Chvey stopped the 396 in 69, so I bought a Revell 69 Chevelle to get the 396 engine, Resin engines didn't come in "396" C.I. Sense that 1st build I've been hooked on Customizing and Hot Rodding car kits. Sorry for rambling, I've built 1 dragster, Garlits Rat IV, , I shook Big Daddy's hand in 60s when I was 10. Had to build his Swamp Rat IV. No more Dragster's, That was enough, Lol

I buy many kits based on the box art, but rarely finish a car kit as per the box art.

I like to roll with the changes( to quote REO) with some of my builds. Sometimes we have an idea in our head that just doesn’t translate to plastic, or, our present skill level. So, I’ll do a partial of my original idea, or, change it up altogether. It keeps the stress level down and the hobby enjoyable , for me, anyway. Thanks for sharing.
