I did it for a very short time at Brass Armadillo here in Des Moines although I was goin through a lot at the time but also sales were sh.tty so I bailed. Too much work & I hav a hard time wanting to try it again. I sell some on eBay too but with postage getting so ridiculously high it's not so easy either. $ is just hard to come by for most people to just b spending on anything other than bills anymore in this time we live in & it's not getting any bettr/easier 😢

Booth rental is relatively afforadble where youre located. Im in Los Angeles and I'm currently researching a booth and im looking at upwards of $300 a month! I think you have good items. I'm surprised you didn't sell more. Especially the art glass! Good luck in the new end cap!

Suggestion for your booth: will they take the doors off the case? I think folks buy what they can touch and hesitate to ask for a key. If you have something very expensive or small enough to walk off, just take it home. Never mind! I see you took the end cap. Good move.

I would try grouping those items by color with vignettes of odd numbers in each corner. I would even remove some and have less for the eye to see. Display it like someone might in the home. Just an idea to try but good luck

I’m finding myself to be more into true antiques these days rather than regular ol vintage pieces other channels once gave me the impression were “cool.” Looks like the market out my way validates that theory 😂

Piece of advise, you should rearrange the items in your booth, people will just pass on by if it's the same old same old. Yes I know it would be the same stock but when it's rearranged people are going to think it's new stock

Love the stuff in your booth! Maybe organize items by color? We would rearrange our items in our antique shop and I swear the things we moved would sell shortly after. Happened all the time!

That’s actually a really great idea! ❤️ Much of what I showed in this video I already switched out and donated as I found it just wasn’t moving. What’s taking up space is taking up money! 😂 Out with the old & in with some new stock will hopefully help draw in some new lookers 😊

Thank you Linda! The rental in the Chicago area is quite pricey as well. Many places being $110-$200+ a month for a basic locked case! I know some places that even ask upwards of $300-$400. I couldn’t fathom looking at that bill each month 🥴 This little mall is tucked quaintly in the country so it asks much less but also doesn’t see nearly the traffic. Some great scores can be found though as the prices are so low 😍

I agree about the bigger items. I have now vintage Christmas an no response its crazy. My prices are cheaper than any antique store prices. I research ebay an the antique stores pricing before i list. So i am going to take them down an then lot them together. Hopefully that works. Like i figured my mercury candlesticks would of sold.
