I've bee waiting for this kind of insights/analysis/info in a video. Very interesting to hear a good skater approach to a complicated move. Great performance in Winterclash. Perfect timing. Actually going to my local skatepark to practice fishbrains on a flat rail. Also while im rather bad at skating i have the same thoughts as you, inluding only hearing noise not words while aproaching an obstucle. Mad respect man!

flat rails used to be my favorite thing to skate, but last year i basically landed right on my ribs and have been totally shook to try new tricks on a p-rail of any sort.

Thats not a flatrail, thats a low handicap, flatrails skateboarders skate and inliners have a hard time with em cause they are flat not round, hence the name flatrail.
