As an update, the ammunition company (Ammo Valley) covered the full cost of the rifle and remaining ammo due to the case failure of this remanufactured ammo. POF finished their assessment 19 May. The VP called to confirm what I had expected with the ammo. They coordinated with the ATF to send a replacement even though Washington has a dumb new "assault weapons" ban. I have the replacement in hand. Update video on my main channel. -I don't own any 300 Blackout -Yes, I'm LARPing on my off time. It's more fun than what I get to do on active duty tbh haha -Yes, I mostly took my shirt off to show off the tats and gains

@Andrew Yellstrom I think it was more just a happy accident that ar15s typically fail in a (all things considered) relatively safe manner. Down the mag well and out the ejection port, maybe a cracked upper. But you're usually mostly okay after. Compare that to an ak platform or a pistol of any type and you may be missing a hand

@@jaredterorotua2201 pistols tend to fail in the same way - venting down the magwell and/or up and away from the shooter. Slides are designed to stay put even during catastrophic failures. Wood grips can sometimes shatter and throw fragments into a shooters hands, while hot gas and pieces of brass might hit the them if the case fails, but it’s usually fairly minor, especially if they are wearing safety glasses. I’ve had two KelTec PMR-30s and a Walther PK380 “explode” while test firing them with nary a scratch. The one time I had an AK blow up, the sides of the stamped receiver bulged out, but the mag and recoil spring guide/carrier stayed put. I do have a very vivid mental image of a fireball expanding out of the receiver as seen through the little square hole of the top cover as it blew off and hit it me hard enough to cut my forehead. Hands were just fine though.

It's also possibly due to a mechanism in your brain releasing a numbing chemical, that is related to pain and even death: your body numbs your pain for a moment in order to still function during the emergency. During death phases, your body pumps those chemicals through so you don't die in pain. And I think they're what makes people hallucinate and see near death experience: "the white light" so to speak.

Operating while intoxicated. Doesn't matter, the definition is as it stands. I don't understand your need to laugh at it for a simple point that he wore eye protection while operating the fire arm. Definitely not "operating". Think about it, why was the camera set up? Why did he stop and reposition the camera? Or take multiple shots? Hell, it's possible it's completely staged. I keep trying to tell people, there's way more downsides to going .300 blk for suppressed CQB than the "modularity" factor makes up for. Just do and AR-9 with 180-190 grain rounds. The platform will cost you little more than a .300 blk upper but by the time you slow down that .300 blk sufficiently, you get better ballistics from a 9 with the same accuracy and range (i.e. shit past 100 yrds and won't pierce any body armor) Oh yeah, plus you don't have to worry about stuff like this..

He thought he had kicked something sharp and pointy, so they went to the hospital because the bleeding wouldn't stop and the staff called the cops. It was the cop who told him that he had gotten shot lol. Upon further inspection, the guys car had been shot twice. Once through the hood and once through the back driver's side door.
