Hey kid ... sorry to hear about my favorite arcade. To be so young and handle it so well means a lot about your character. As a former cop out in society dealing with the most evil perils, I became a victim myself. I lost 6 figures by doing nothing wrong. My ex decided to leave me while I was working. Never fought argued or problems in our relationship .. so I thought. I lost my $550,000 home and had to sell it as a short sale 🤬. Then the legal cost of $52,000 for an attorney, then child support even know she makes 140,000. Just remember, keep your head up and move forward!! Forget the past!! Vaccines are coming out!! In six months, hopefully we will start seeing the consumers back out !!

I grew up going to this mall. I got my nails done at the salon across the way regularly. When news broke of the closer everyone was shocked but even more shocked of how this was being handled. I’m so sorry this happened.

Here is basically what actually happened: The mall basically had a bad roof, it needed to be replaced and the city of Adrian was threatening with condemning the mall if no roof work was done, so in early March (of 2020 they started fixing the roof, but due to cov1d the mall was shut down and also the governor of Michigan made it so construction on public places would stop until further notice, which meant the roof would not be fixed for awhile. Now it's May of 2020 and now the governor of Michigan started allowing building to continue, so now they will fixing the roof again, it was finished by the end of the month, or in early June. When there was a reinspection for the mall, they found the roof was not very good and that somebody was scared the roof would collapse and they would fall. They also found mold in the mall, which also included light fixtures being wet, etc. So the building was condemned on June 16, then Claw Kicker went into the mall to see his store. That's what happened. Also I think they will redevelope the building into a new shopping center, also sorry for the bad wording :/

God damn worked at that mall from 2006-2010, it's wild to see you in the radio shack space! But also, the owners of the mall only own dead malls it's in their portfolio. When the new management came in I wish you'd done your due diligence and dipped. I hope as a business owner your insurance or renters insurance for the space will handle this. Before the pandemic, we were going to be going to your arcade during our road trip, so I was going to ask my parents if we could stop at your arcade. We had to cancel our road trip ( obviously due to covid ) and now I found out this happened. It may not be the same if you ever rebuilt that arcade, but I hope to go to one day. (Or any other locations that you have)

I had to come back and leave another comment. I feel bad for you. I am all so sad. This mall is special to me. I grew up in Adrian. I spent lots of time in that mall. I was a mall rat in the 80's. The place that your arcade was located was the Radio Shack. I remember as a teen shopping for a Walkman with my Dad there. When I became a published author I had book signings at Walden books in the mall. It is sad to see the mall like that. When my daughter was a baby I brought her to your arcade. I hope they don't close the mall. I have had enough really awful things happen lately. I understand how bad you must feel. I feel real bad for you. But I know there are a lot of people that would be sad to see the mall go. People with happy memories of life's firsts. People that might have had their first date, first kiss and first job. Or like my daughter the first time she played a arcade game. I hope you recover from this terrible mess.

Bro that's my home town i have played those games and they were greatly appreciated. As a kid this mall was really poppin off and was always full to the hilt with people, car shows, farm shows, and the absolute best stores in town. As i grew up this place has gone down to literally nothing along with many others. Holy shit!! I'm sorry that happened to you! I guess we were pretty lucky, all we had was some water damage! I left my Square POS in my store but took all of the money out and left it open just in case (I didn't want someone trying to pry it open.) One of the twins called me one day & asked me if I had any money in it because they saw it was open. What pieces of shit, I know you say it's just money but it's also principal. That's awful. I live in the city that this happened in and I knew around the time that this large burglary happened, a small one was attempted, a couple tried stealing one of your coin machines. Not sure why that mall keeps getting targeted, and not sure why a good guy with a good business keeps getting hit, but, continue with those legal proceedings something's gotta give soon!
