ok, there is a load(initial shot) and reload(following shots). You should check that out with your RL. secondly, the Sield is only usefull if you have a "low" HP base and a strong Unit-HP-Shield-donator, as soon your base-HP gets higher, you might better use Base-DMG-resist. Test that for yourself and the community.

so with the RL, I had an issue, I now realise was a glitch where I was constantly on 2 second load time. or sub, the video I didnt show it one a hard target like a base because i was out of an L4. 2 days after I recorded this a patch dropped and I wasnt able to recreate the glitch, the video took over 6 hours to create, so i elected to leave it in because, honestly, didnt think anyone would watch it. I had recoreded another video where I made 3 seperate admendments, this was actually number 1, another was on phrasing i used to AP Over pen. (I forget what the 3rd was) but i deleted it yesterday as i hadnt finished it in a month of trying to make the video just work. As for the base HP, its S1 xD my guy, no one has high HP lol But yes, I already had a plan in place to do exactly this going forward I was intending on moving from Thorn/Steel over to something else, possible Uncle/Vox as this is just for base usage and utility rather than soaking up damage from other players on a base assault. Next time i think "I cant recreate this again" I will delete it xD thanks for keeping me honest, I will pin the comment, and now i need to make a new amendment video!

Funny you say that, in my previous build I did in fact have her in my rotation, and now my base HP is high enough, I no longer need the shield provided by Thorn, and she's going back into rotation in the next couple of weeks. I have made, a few changes since this video

With the advent of infantry RL is a smart play, you have a stellar base defense setup for being in capped. Youve got a counter for everything.

As with everything though, what you gain in one area, you lose in another. My field play is horrendous due to my vulnerability. But the base clearance and defence is pretty wild (: about 2 days after I recorded this video they actually changed the RL so it doesn't fire as fast, but I still have it sub 3 seconds before war machines ability kicks in. Then it goes back down to two seconds. Thanks for the comment and watching the video mate.

Hey again…. Good clip m8. Keep it up :))) I have question about the base setup whilst you are not online: when I go away (rarely lol) from the game, I would zero off all the units and replace them with the level 1 - same camp, but on the same officers I was using playing live. Is it a good move ? Or pointless? I don’t want to level the units up coz I would loose a reserves when burned - right? But would the camp bonus work? +18% ? And would the officers don’t thier jobs? I just can’t find an answer anywhere ?

Well, you don't need to replace them with level 1 equivalents no. I'd suggest untraining the units if you're away and leaving it until you return to deploy your main units back in. As a level 1 unit won't provide your base with any significant defence, it would appear to be a bit of a waste I'm sorry to say. However, good idea. Personally, after I exit L4s, I just leave my base alone, if it gets destroyed and I lose all my units, I simply don't train them again until the start of the next L4.

Great question, yes, if I was going into the field. Putting thorn first means I save 2 seconds on time for my base shields first usage. It's the only reason I have it that way round, a 7.1 SH isn't much use in base to base and I have no other tanks available (:

I am setting up my heli for critical dmg, and my tech is high in tanks. So with the information in this video should I be using firepower in training tabs instead of damage to maximize crit dmg.

The firepower won't maximise the crit damage, like a damage buff would, fire power affects 3 sub stats, Damage, accuracy and fire rate. Higher fire rate just means you can pop off a crit more often when combined with a high crit chance percentage. You could train damage instead, and when you crit it would hit a lot harder. But you'll also lose the accuracy and rate of fire bonuses. It's why I often recommend firepower over damage for crit builds. Each benefits different target types also. So damage Vs fortifications is better than firepower, but it's the other way around Vs a fast target due to how many shots you'll fire before it moves out of range.

if i was going for pure crit and nothing else, Rapier as captain and Lady of justice as aid. i'd train in fragmentation on captain as special covert operator as the damage buff. on the aide, i'd train bottomless arsenal as the balanced and defending nation as the damage. targeting firepower to increase chance to hit and rate of fire. with that combination, you'd get 35% (+20% over 8) chance per hit of landing a critical, and if all are awakened you'd deal an additional 400 Coefficient on crit every 4 seconds. I think i covered a similar build in the deep dive helicopter video. not sure. You'd probably want the vangaurd heli though, as it starts with a higher rate of fire. this combo should yield 3800 coef over 8 (give or take) so you wouldnt really need the penetration rating to deal damage to tanks. as you would be relying on crits and skill damage.

I asked warpath vip about saber of nations rain of blades and they said to me only his artillery troop has 30% to activate his tactical skill. Not every artillery troop unit in ur base. Can u please tell me where u got the every artillery unit thing from I am confused now ?

The awakened skill states "every artillery troop attack has a 30% chance to instantly activate saber of nations tactical skill" So, if you have 2 artillery units, that's a 30% chance per unit per strike. I've managed to pull insane amounts of skill damage in very short periods of time with this mechanic. If it was just for his unit the wording would be "this officers artillery troop" as some other skills are. But this awakened skill on saber, very specifically states "every artillery troop" The only thing I can't determine is if it includes artillery troops under my control in AGs or if it's only applied to owned troops.

Depending on how you want to use uncle yes, however his shield is lower than steels. The trade off is 10% extra on base skill damage reduction once he's awakened over steel. So if you're leaning on the double shield set up for assaulting bases, I'd say no. If you're using it defensively then yes.

Warrior wiz is confusing me I know he’s good on tanks but on arty… the crit. Stuff is not really working I think because I never saw that an arty can crit. Only atg and tanks I believe😅

They can, Wiz is seriously good with a tank based tech/army though. He really pumps damage. If you're struggling with seeing the numbers to get the information about the damage. I'd recommend just recording the odd PvP interaction you have. Playing it back frame by frame. Alot of the numbers for damage get obscured but other units firing at the same time. If you're on desktop you could use OBS, most phones have a screen recording option you can use. I use these tools to get more information on individual actions from within the battle report

@TheSmokingCheddar cheers mate thank you, also... I seen you used your RT to farm raven with 2 second load speed. Put 2x awakened officers onto it.. hit 3 x raven (loading officer skill) and 2x bunkers immediately after it and you'll quickly farm raven and bunkers. I really enjoy my rockets for this exact reason. Knowing you don't really have an ample sponge unit it may help you farm :)]

sound advice, alas i dont make this for views. The content originally was intended to just pass to my alliance members so I didnt have to keep answering the same questions. If in the future i decide to try and make a go of this, be sure I have heeded the advice. for now, I will be just sticking to making most of my stuff for the SALT/HP as a sort of centralised source of information
