The name is Grand Hyatt Erawan. I used points for this stay but I think the average price is $200 per night.

The official taxi drivers at the airport are more regulated and more monitored. That is why I recommend you use the official taxi stand at the airport. You can also ask the driver to use the meter just to make sure.

Easier to ride train to city. There is good money conversion near train entrance. Did ATM have high fees? How does this hotel compare with other country hotels for the price, value and breakfast? Good video ...

I think the train is closed after midnight. Almost all ATM’s in Thailand charge a fee (about 220 baht) but my bank reimburses me.

The train doesn't run after midnight. And I would be wary of coming in to a BTS station late at night to look for a good taxi, but maybe that's just me.

No, there was no need for toll roads because it was late after midnight.

Bangkok is so huge and bustling. Yes, Thailand has a larger population than Taiwan. The airport and a lot of hotels there might have a Western vibe catering to diverse global travelers.
