I have no experience in being pregnant but I can say with full confidence: don't feel bad for feeling overwhelmed and scared. Yes having a baby is a beautiful thing however change is scary and there will be a lot of it. It's normal to be afraid, it's normal to be otherwhelmed at times. Just let yourself feel what you feel (joy or fear) and know that it's okay.

Welcome to being a mother. Going between being super happy and being super worried. You may have moments were you feel like you aren't good enough and wonder if you can do this. This happened to me when my husband was at work and I couldn't get our son to stop crying. My husband came home for lunch and saw how stressed I was. He was able to get him to stop and I started crying and I remember saying, "I don't know if I can do this." My husband reassured me and stayed home to help me. Now my son is 7 years old. I still have moments where I feel like, "Am I doing a good job?" and worry. I just wanted to share that so you know you are not alone, and we all feel this way at times. It's not easy, but we do the best we can. I love the art piece, by the way. Great job! 😊

Hello Rebecca I'm usually a silent viewer but I thought I might be able to ease your mind a little about your unborns sons clubbed foot. I have Spina bifida and was also born with clubbed feet. Both of my feet were severely turned inwards but thanks to God, it is as you mentioned, very treatable. I had serial casting done for about a year and a half and then a procedure done when I was little where they were able to rectify the positioning of my feet. I am in my late teens now and while I am unable to move or feel my feet, (something that is completely unrelated to having clubbed feet,and is purely because of Spina Bifida.) my feet are now correctly positioned aside from the fact that they are completely limp ( again this is completely unrelated to having had clubbed feet). My feet are scared , I am missing some bones ( which they used to rectify my clubbed feet), and I do have some pins in my feet but other than that (which seems like alot.😅) my feet are completely fine now. It is a long process but it's also completely worth it and if you decide to treat it while he's young he won't remember anything about the experience so there won't be any bad memories or feelings associated with it. He's experience will also be different from mine because It doesn't sound as though he has any pre-existing conditions aside from that, so he should be able to use his foot normally. As almost all kids who have this procedure don't early are able to run, walk, and play normal after having it. I would suggest putting a sock over his cast though because when I was younger I ended up hurting my toes from crawling around, although suppose that could be because I can't feel them and Soni was unaware that I was hurting them 😅. Anyways I hope this offers at least a little bit of comfort and I apologize if I have over stepped my bounds that was not my intentions. God bless. ❤
