oh wow. thank u so much for sharing. Ots funny because you have like about 6 or more times more the stuff i have and at least you do have a room to go to. Which by the way I loved seeing thank you so much. If I could ask, you yourself how exactly would you begin to organize if lets say you didnt have any craft supplies and you bought tons of stuff. There it is all strewn around the house unpacked. How would you begin your organizing? I am so overwhelmed I just look at it because I truly dont know how to get started and what to even start doing. Thank you for your sweet comment :) OK, the way to get started is to Start!! Stop Looking and START!! Easier said than done, I know it. First thing I would do is start making piles of like items, (you do not need to find all the like items at one time, make a sign or grab a box for each type of item and then when you pick something up you take it to that pile) put all the fabric, ribbon, thread, yarn, etc in one pile. Put all the paper, cardboard, napkins, plastic sheets, etc. in one pile, put all the color pencils with the markers and crayons, put the paints and wet colors of any kind in a pile. Put all your glues and tapes in a pile. Once you get sorted into piles, you will know how much of each type of item you have and then you can decide how you will store it. UP is a good word for storage, book cases (make sure you attach them to the wall so they do not tip over) and shelves on the wall all the way to the ceiling or close works well (you may need a step ladder, be safe. You may not have a room, so see where you could put a closed piece of furniture in your home and put like items in that. I have lots of videos on how to make storage on my channel, click on my icon to get to the search for my channel, look at my playlist or type in storage and it should show you some. The big thing is to not buy a lot of storage until you know how much of each item you have, and you know where the storage piece will go. Buy (used is best) or Build your storage to fit the space you have to put it. And finally, enjoy the sorting process, it does not have to be a chore, it can be part of your creative process and it will inspire you to start creating, so make notes of things you think of as you sort, and let yourself play a bit but do not get distracted to much until you get to where you want to be for the day :) tfw, and I hope you have an Outstanding Day :) amy

Hubby accidently left the water on in the art room, and didn't find it until the next day, now I have things piled in every nook and cranny in my house to get it out of the way for the restoration crew so they can clean up the mess.
