We live in a fallen world. The earth is not our home. We have a heavenly home where we will spend eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ. There will be no evil, no pain, no suffering, no lack, only peace, love, comfort, safety and security with our Lord. Just knowing that we have that type of inheritance can get us through this world's troubles and struggles. Our God will never leave us nor forsake us. Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. Praise the Lord!

I started watching Charles Stanley this year because church fellowships in my area have essentially become non existent. People go to church to gossip or they treat it like some sort of entertainment show. I have tested church goers by asking for help, one or two people have helped but people have only ended up trying to get me to join their little show churches or have tried to get me to gossip and since I have turned those temptations down they avoid me. Fellowships have become non existent because of that. I just watch sermons by Charles, read my Bible verses and say prayers to keep my own salvation and sanity.

I've been struggling with this matter of God allowing evil/sin in His children's lives, since our daughter was murdered in 2015. Throughout the trial of almost 4 years, I believed that God was in control and when the perpetrator was sentenced to life for murder plus 15 years insurance fraud, I thanked God for justice. Then after more than 3 years, in 2023, he appealed the murder sentence which took place without our family's knowledge and was acquitted of the murder but not released and is still serving the fraud charge of 15 years which was initially used by the prosecutor as pointing to the murder We heard it in on the news on the radio, and read it in the newspaper the following day. Needless to say, we were shocked beyond measure. I admit I questioned God, why? But I still believe God us in control though we don't know what lies ahead, and it has left a profound effect on our family. 🙏 🙏 🙏

I am very sorry for your loss. May you find peace and the capacity to forgive through Jesus, for all is happening according to His Will. @@4REALLLit's funny that those are the words the prosecutor used when we phoned him about the acquittal and that the court did not have the decency to let us know beforehand 'it is what it is' he said while the perpetrator and his lawyers got away with it, their motto being 'we'll do whatever it takes to get our client off '😢 which made me realize there is no justice on earth and that God is the ultimate judge ! 🙏

My assurance - God is in control - Part 2 How do we explain evil in the world? It's is for his permissive will, he uses it for divine purpose The tree in the garden symbolize the authority of God A pure love is based on freedom to make choices but our freedom is limited in order to not interfere with God's perfect will He causes all things to work together for good in our life Just we need to trust and surrender to him

Evil existed before man was created. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the garden of Eden. Satan existed long before men were created. We create nothing. The one thing that I struggle with is understanding why God allows children to be sexually abused. I've talked to several victims and they all struggle with their faith because they don't understand how as an innocent child this would have been allowed to happen to them and I try to have better understanding about this myself & it's a real struggle it's hard to find anything good coming from that and the numbers of people who struggle with faith because of this reason is devastating

God allows evil/sin to exist because He allows free will. Evil/Sin is simply being in opposition to God on any given issue. Man/Angels or any decision making entity engage in evil/sin whenever its position on a particular issue is not in alignment with that of God’s. Therefore, God’s decision to allow for free will also allowed for disagreement with Him which is essentially what we know as evil/sin. Either way, God is still in Control. He doesn’t command us to understand. He commands us to trust that everything will turn out for good if we follow Him.
I disagree. Bc the Bible says God created ALL THINGS. Also it says he knows all things. So if he didn’t create evil who did ?
@Joy-up5fj4 күн бұрын
Beloved. You should pray and re-watch the message. It explains that evil is the absence of good and how we got to that point. I offer advice to take mind map notes to connect everything. I'm going to do that myself so I can understand it well enough to rest in and explain to others.
@TSeeker13 күн бұрын
I also disagree with the new "rewrite" of this passage. The bible has many words for "calamity", but the word used is evil. Also, three words in that verse mean the same thing: form, make and create. Your question is valid, if He didn't create it, where did it come from? It's a force He uses for choice and to accomplish that He pleases, right? His plan was from long ago and everything He does is righteous. I don't understand the vehement rejection of this scripture. God is indeed in control and the creator of all things! He can certainly use evil for good and He does. God bless you!✝️💖

Dr. Charles Stanley what God is accomplishing with His allowance of evil is trying the Angels in Heaven and testing Mankind. God is seeing the hearts of both Angels and Mankind to know who truly loves Him and accepts His plan. Lucifer and one third of the Angels fell because Lucifer had been found guilty of Pride. Pride in Lucifer was in his heart and he could not love God because he opposes God’s plan to create mankind. Lucifer then decided to make a mockery out of God’s plans to have a Son. Lucifer said he wanted to be like God so the fallen Angels went into the daughter’s of men and they bore Lucifer son’s who were GIANTS! God seen this and regretted that He made mankind and God told Noah to build an Ark because God’s plan was to destroy mankind by the Great Flood but God found grace in Noah and spared Noah and his family and the animals that Noah loaded up on the Ark. God then destroyed the people of the earth and started over after the Great Flood ended. Ham the second son of Noah committed a sin against Noah and his son Canaan was cursed to be a servant of servants. And through Canaan’s seed the Giants were reborn and they were fighting Israel and David a little shepherd boy defeated Goliath and God was pleased with David’s Faith that moved a mountain of evil flesh that opposed God. Today we see the offspring of Goliath’s family in Gaza and all over the world still fighting against Christians and Jews.
@4REALLL3 күн бұрын
Long story short, what got Lucifer in trouble was that, over the course of time in heaven, he allowed himself to become fixated and obsessed with the glory of his Creator, and the honor and worship being constantly directed at Him. And, at some point, and none of us human beings know, he started to 'covet' some of what was being directed at God....for himself. (I will be 'like'(meaning, 'somewhat') 'the Most High." Obviously, by acknowledging Him as 'the Most High', he knew that he could never even come close to being who God was and is, because he knew he was a created being. And, obviously, God 'knew his thoughts', and 'warned' him not to give in to those thoughts, and that there would be consequences for doing so.) I have always believed one particular thing about how God deals with human beings, as He did with angels: God is a God of WARNINGS. And I have no doubt that 'holy' Lucifer was WARNED before he devolved into the person of Satan.
