I have used Evoqua Water Di tanks for years. I use the larger single which lasts me about 6-8 months. Really good service too. I call for an exchange and they are at the house within two days.

I built my own system, basically a 55 gallon storage tank, I reverse osmosis filter set that then runs through a smaller deionized filter. See RO system will take your 400PPM house water down to about 7PPM and then you run it through DI filter so it doesn’t use so much expensive resin.

You know you can hook it up to your house to use for dishwasher and laundry right. Your stuff would use less soap and get washed better.

Excellent Video.. and smart move to rent. I just set up my detailing trailer with a similar system that I purchased from Culligan. Comes out much cheaper than purchasing my own DI Rinse. Furthermore, it cleans much more volume of water. Very happy with this set up.. Thanks. Press on!

I need some help... I need to run my On The Go Di vessel after the water tank then to a pressure washer. Would I need some kind of inline pump between the Water Storage tank and my Di vessel or can I just connect my Di vessel directly to my Water storage tank with a pressure washer on the outlet of my Di vessel?

Do you get any water spots on your car windows just by rinsing your car with the DI tank without actually washing the car, just doing a rinse off? I have one tank and have rinsed my car off twice weekly for 11 months, then all of a sudden tiny water spots appeared on my windows but my quality light was still green.

1. Would you just hook up your pressure washer directly to it or are there other steps. 2. How long will those tanks last you? Really liking the videos. You answer a lot of the questions that the average weekend warrior detailers have. I've been into this hobby for the past 1.5years and I've had a lot of questions answered by you that the "big" detailer channels don't answer.

You could hook your PW directly up to it. With these tanks I’m pushing about 1500-2000 gallons of DI water. I’m currently at 4 months with same tanks

If you install a carbon pre filter. You'll get alot more life out of your water. As well as getting a water quality light.

How do carbon filters make DI water last longer, I thought carbon filters only remove chlorine and chemicals but leave the minerals (TDS) in the water which causes spots.

@deanmorrison3505 I gave Puretec an call after hearing great things. But the only residential service they offered was a $600+ purchase of the tank, with the additional caveat that I will need to drive down to Anaheim to do the resin exchange - and they only open Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:30. If there is a way do a tank rental with the resin exchange delivered to a home-user, please let me know! I talked to Mike in the 805.

@@DoctorSoftie yeah try Hall’s Culligan Oxnard They have larger service routes and more trucks. They are in Oxnard, but they have shops all over California. Their route drivers are out daily in all areas. They regen at their Oxnard plant and they do a lot more of the smaller stuff than puretec In’Southern, California.
