Thank you so much for your vulnerability and openness in this video. I followed along and so much of what you said meant a lot to me. Especially about giving physical support where you don’t usually. 🌼

Thank you for sharing this Ingrid. We are all in this together. I also feel lots of anxiety. You are not alone although it sometimes feels like that. This self soothing routine is amazing and I am happy this works for you. ❤️

I love that you posted this - I meditate occasionally as I'm going to sleep or when I'm in a comfy chair, but never thought to use yoga blocks to sit up like this. I need to try this. Thank you for sharing this routine and bringing some positivity and inspiration to YT today!

I do yoga every day and have been following a lot of Yoga with Adriene's videos recently, so it was a nice change up to follow you and hear the things that work for your body! It gave me some new things to think about during my practice. Also Tayto was super cute and cracking me up at the end ❤️❤️❤️

The thing's that are helping me right now are little rituals thru the day...lemon water and Bella grace mag in the morning...a podcast and journaling in late afternoon...a bath with lavender and then a short meditation in the evening and then right before bed a scented skin care routine and some gentle yoga

Today was the day that it all hit me...my daughter has been home for a week, and I’ve been teleworking for a week. Learned that my husband might get laid off, even though he was guaranteed that he would not. I cried several times today. My daughter cried because she misses her friends at school. We are at a high point of anxiety, and need to come terms with all that is unfolding so quickly around us, which is difficult. I keep reminding myself that this is not our fault, and we are all in the same situation. Hopefully, this will be a wake up call for all. We will get through this ❤️

Ingrid, this was amazing! This was just wonderful - I feel just as relaxed as after an intensive yin yoga class. And thank you so much for introducing me to the term 'self soothing' in an adult context! I had genuinely never heard it before and I think it'll change my whole approach to this anxious period we are all living in - taking slow, gentle, supported time out to self-soothe when I feel I need it.

Don't worry about corona one bit. These measures are a bit excessive and can be done much better but we don't do these things because danger is coming, we do it to ensure it will be a non event. We stay in a lane to not crash with oncoming traffic, not because oncoming traffic is about to kill us anyway. You can take a deep breath and just enjoy it as an odd social event and existential moment. Only about 1 in a million people in the world have died from it and 99% of those were in near death health already. The disease is slightly unusual in that in some few cases its bite is a bit stronger and you shouldn't be exposed to someone very ill because the amount of exposure seems to matter. You can be overwhelmed by too much. But the primary scare of this is that we are counting deaths for a large population in a narrative as if death never happens. So 3000 dead in china sounds very dramatic or 6 in a nursing home but it puts it in perspective that the same amount of people died from other reasons in the same time period at that nursing home. The reality is that the deaths are mostly at natural end of life and that normal flus kill in greater numbers. We are just not used to seeing global tallies. In USA alone this winter, with a mild flu season, about 300000 were hospitalized because of the flu. That sounds dramatic but it's 1 in a thousand. We forget that really old people and death is a thing :) So you can be completely relaxed, nothing to fear. The biggest danger from this is clamping down on society for a long time so the economy crashes. One positive that might come of this is awareness of infection mechanisms and presence of pathogens and we might decide that infectious diseases need no longer be a thing and send them packing. It is possible.
