Using plant food on a plant makes it so they’re set at max hp for the entire duration of the plant food, making it so you might’ve not had to lose wall nut or use iceberg’s plant food to freeze the gargantuar. This also means you could plant food a plant while zomboss is charging to make him just get paralyzed instead of you losing plants

1:00 As a pokemon fan, this is wrong. The level cap rule isn't about being underleveled every gym. The rule makes so you can't be OVERLEVELED, meaning your pokemon can't be a higher level than the gym leaders strongest mon.

For the Ancient Egypt gargantuar, you could've planted a Bloomerang directly on the garg and plant food it to deal 4x the damage, as the projectiles from verticle and backwards directions also hit the garg. Most of the time I did this, it instantlly killed the garg. Even if it was not enough however, just plant food it again right after the old plant food ended and before the garg attacks again, as I can see you able to save enough PFs.

I think that a run with leveling actually would be legit. If we talking nuzloke, most of the nuzloke players cheat in themselfs a candys to lvl pokemon to their max gym level. I feel like leveling in a run be more forgiving than a run that ends on 1/10 of a game

In the future, maybe I’ll try that. I’d have to limit myself somehow, but I don’t really know how, because an M200 Bloomerang ALONE would carry the entire run 😭

@@SylviaYSI How about you get 2 levels for every world, like the level cap in Pokemon? So for Ancient Egypt you can get every Plant to Level 2, Pirate Seas Level 4, Wild West Level 6, etc.

@@SylviaYSI it might be one of two things. Ither give yourself reasonable time, like 3 months to collect upgrades or smth(didnt play since 2017) to not have totaly overpowered plants at the end but still having bonus levels, ither like the guy said have 1 level upgrade for every plant that you have for world. That way you will have really strong starter plants like peashoter and less levels on actually good ones you will open in the later levels. I think this idea might make challange doable but also more diverse and your deck flexible. Also restarting level just because you faild a plant is kainda easy. You could try getting as far as you can and then maybe replay levels where you lost the plant with better levels one the same deck. Or you can just drop the idea because nuzloke just doesnt translate into pvz that good

@@SylviaYSI You could make it so that you level them up just by whatever you get from pinatas after a level, without farming from the store or prior levels

My man, if you consider using rare candies cheating, you never did a nuzlocke and don't know smack about what you are talking about. PVZ2 was designed around lv1 plants, levelling them up would make the game easier than it should be, which ruins the point of a challenge. Using rare candies to put your pokemon at the same level as the gym leader is not cheating, because they are not overlevelling. Putting all your pokemon at lv 100 would be, but that's not what they do. The nuzlockers just do it so they don't spend hours grinding levels, a problem that old pokemon games have, since they are rpgs. Calling a way of saving hours of nothing cheating is so dumb, especially since many nuzlocke focused hackroms give you rarecandies so you don't need to grind. Pokemon is an RPG, you are supposed to level up. The nuzlockers made a rule so you can't be over the gym leader's level, so I don't even know what you are on about. Pvz2 was made and THEN levelling was added. It was design for you to have only lvl1 plants. It's stupid comparasion

You could put singular Plants by chunks so when Zomboss Decides to Ram into 2 lines, It would only destroy 1 plant not multiple plants

If a plant dies, If you allow yourself to use it on the same level that it died on then AE is definitely possible

Attacks from the zomboss boss fights can be interrupted by a offensive power plant food or defensive if the zombot does something like a tackle. Which can save your plants. In the boss fights zomboss summons some zombies that when killed give you plant food. Don’t know how you don’t know this.

You also lost a twin sunflower and bonk choy on days 19 (torch zombie) and 22 (coffin zombie) respectively

If you plant food a plant on the Egypt boss fight and zombies runs into it, the plant will not be destroyed and zombies will be knocked back

Fun fact: both pvz1 and pvz2 nuzlockes are obviously impossible, but at least pvz1's nuzlocke only really proves impossible in 5-4 (A.K.A the chomper and pumpkin conveyor belt level)

How do you lose plants when you can reset

To explain it simply, I can reset the levels if I lose Plants and believe that I can beat them without losing the Plants. If I beat the level with Plants lost, then those Plants will STAY lost unless I want to attempt that level again to see if I can beat it without losing them. Sorry if it sounds complex
