My attempt on Biffa's Panic Challenge: ~6500 population in 30 minutes!

You should really try again, you had the game on pause for the first 3 minutes with no one moving in and then again for almost a minute mid game. Those four minutes later on in the game are important as the population can grow about 1000 per minute near the end if things are done right. Good try though.
