Until one day, Mike had enough and snapped at her like never before. She then realzed she was a very bad mother and started to change her behaviour. She ended up earning Mike's forgiveness and being a good mother to all of her kids and William. In the future, Clara feels guilty for what she did to Mike, but Mike forgave his mother, and they have a strong bond and relationship.
